Most items are capped at level 200. However there are some exceptions. the boss drops are varying? (Someone had a level 280 exiled shield) and sunkens were supposed to go to level 300. I don’t know how you would upgrade an enchanted sunken to level 300 though

Yeah, people do it there because the captains might get stuck and then they aoe them. But in general, any village since the MC can spawn there. An alternative to the silent tower is summer hold since it is big and destroying the houses creates the same situation that happens in silent tower
