World of Magic is terribly designed compared to AA

okay… How is this different from AA? Legit, yeah guilds are toxic, but clans were arguably worse.

In AA, you could capture islands and get lamina from it. It had actual gameplay benefits.

Synergies don’t carry shit, there, I said it. Sure you could freeze someone with ice, but frankly, all they have to do is attack you and they’re out. Same with petrify. Crystal and light are maybe the only terrible magics that get good through synergies AND ITS ONLY ONE SYNERGY.

What about all of the other synergies?

Thats not my issue with TGR though, he’s getting rid of dynamic npcs and a full ass world

The map was a bit disappointing, but it would be nearly impossible to make a strictly linear story with killable NPCs

I honestly just mindlessly play anything made by vetex.
But I understand your point, AA definitely had more memorable quests.
My experiences with Guilds are non-existent and I stink at PvP in both games so I’ve got nothing.
