To me, genuine hatred is already the point where you are wishing death on somebody, so if I hated somebody, of course I wouldn’t save them. Why would I? Somebody would have to do something absolutely horrible for me to hate them.
I think “hate” is being used a bit lighter than that in this topic, though lol.
Like the example in this topic would be an extremely shitty person but I wouldn’t actively want to see them die infront of me. They’d be a good few steps away from genuine hate.
