This character would be a side-boss as well as a fighting style trainer, teaching you Mimetic Fist.

You get ambushed by them on a random island as they’re looking to fight someone so that their win streak can reach 100

Stats:
Level 200
Health: 3650

Weapon:
Boneshatter (Colossal Wrecking ball wrapped around their hand)
Cannom Fist
Mimetic Fist

Phase 1:
Theyre just playing around and want to test you. The attacks are less aggressive but still deal decent damage

Attacks:
Searing Rush: A crash move which deals 122 damage
Axe Kick (Random imitation): A teleporting smash move which deals 160 damage
Deadly Swing: After a wind-up, they teleport behind you and swing at you with Boneshatter. Deals 150 damage

Leg Flick (Iron Leg imitation): they raise their leg before flicking it up, creating a slash that travels far before fading. Deals

Phase 2: Theyre starting to have fun and use more of their moveset
All of the previous moves

Ocean’s Wrath: A shot move. Deals 190 damage.

Shock Pulse: A 4-hit shockwave move. Deals 50 damage per hit

Blazing Bash: A rush move using Boneshatter and an imitation of Thermo Fist. An 8 hit attack finishing with a slam to the ground. Deals 230 damge in total.

Explosive Palm: Another 1 hit shockwave move using the palm animation. Deals 170 damage.

Final phase: They are actually worried they might lose and become much more aggressive. If theyre not using a move, theyre dashing towards you and hitting you. They only use fighting styles in the form of imbuments except Cannon Fist.

Right after this phase starts, they activate their focus and imbue their weapon before using this move.
Light-Speed Blitz It starts as a slower Beast Instinct which is much more accurate, progressively becoming faster before they dash up into the air and slam down towards you. This deals 355 damage

Other Moves:

All the other moves from the previous phases.
Additions include:

Destructive Roar: They roar so loud, it deals 265 damage. Thats it.

Obliberate: A rush move similar to Crushing Judgement. Deals 270 damage.

Wrecking Swing: They swing their weapon in a massive circle, dealing 281 damage

Keen Barrage: They continuosly throw cannonballs at you for 10 seconds, dealing, 30 damage per hit.

If you win, they’ll get angry, having their win streak ruined and drop a Mimetic Fist scroll while running away.

Other Drops:
Boneshatter
Rouge’s Gi
Rogue’s Leggings
Rogue’s Cloak

Nice ideas, I like them, but maybe tone down the damage and reduce the health drastically. 12750 at level 200? Kai has 3000 at level 300 and needs points in vitality for that! I’d say bring it down to around 2250.

As for the viability, I like the idea of fighting a mini-boss to get access to a fighting style, but imo too many attacks and moves to be completely reasonable.

Also, I’ve got some name ideas. White Stone, Bruce Hammerfist, Harold Valker, and Illius Astroth. Maybe some of these would fit?

The suggestion needs some tweaks, but it certainly isn’t bad enough to get spammed “Never cook again.” + that one image. The fight doesn’t sound bad, but just like what @Potent_Potassium said, the damage needs to be lowered and the health is extremely high.

The fighting style you get sounds interesting, but I wish it was less of an extra thing tacked on and more like the other half of the suggestion. I can’t say much about it when you’ve only given a brief description of it’s gimmick. I would call it something other than Basic Combat T2 though, maybe something like Mimic Fist or Mimetic Fist.

Theres a lot of suggestions like this and they just seem like people want their oc’s in the game or something, not all of em are like that but this one kinda gives that vibe

its not an oc and more so a random idea i had that i thought would kinda work in game with tweaks

If there was a roaming fighting style boss who’s eager to spar with you when encountered, I feel like this Redwake Berserker from Sailor’s Lodge would fit into that archetype perfectly, as he’s traveling the seas looking for fighting style mentors in order to get stronger. If you beat him, he could teach you one of the fighting styles or rare techniques (like axe-slash) he’s learned from traveling. This is probably unlikely however, since it seems like vetex might have plans to reintroduce him later in the War Seas as seen with his distinct traits and foreshadow-y dialougue when you meet him. Would be cool to see regardless
