actions speak louder than words let me just tell you that

And you’ve shown no example of actions… :fr:

you guys can keep arguing but

If knockback is as powerful as you claim why is wind considered so mid
DoT is useful in nearly every situation because it’s literally just more damage while you aren’t attacking
most of your examples can easily be combined (1-4 can all be combined), 5 isn’t true anymore as far as I’m aware, and 6 applies to literally any status (blinds and damage much more so!)

wind is a fun gimmick but that’s all it is right now, a gimmick

tell me why i’ve seen like 3 tier lists that people I think agreed upon where wind was seen as S tier
then

Because it clears a shit ton of status effects, has the 3rd highest speed, and has the same damage as explosion. (The knockback is just a plus)

a big plus if you know how to use it

I think you meant to say “knockback is a fun gimmick.” Wind is definitely not just a gimmick

No, it’s not that big of a plus. You also see shadow on S tier and it does the same shit as wind except it clears no status effects, no knockback, and has a .025 higher damage affinity.

This is heated, cooldown pie to cool things off?

shadow does more damage, doesn’t knock people away (which in a map where you can run essentially forever is not a good thing the overwhelming majority of the time), and the status clears are very matchup specific. Wind sacrifices damage for a gimmick that can be actively detrimental.

Also yada yada scaling (you realize that 0.025 is what puts Shadow in the same damage range as wood and water, right?)

Wind is in no way an S tier magic.

Wood and Water are also not 1.3X speed which is what makes Shadow so good. Wind does .025 damage less and the knockback isn’t a bad thing as it’s more useful in 1v1s that having no knockback is in 1v1s. Running will be annoying regardless of what magic you’re using. Wind also has a higher speed than Shadow which you failed to mention. Status clears are another reason to pick that specific magic over another, it doesn’t make them not useful at all if it only works with certain magics, i’m saying that higher speed, much more status effect clears, and knockback puts it on at least the same level as shadow if not more.

Gonna be honest with you, pedro.

This is the most dumb and pointless arguement I have ever seen you make, no really, what the hell is this.
“Physical advantage”, did you just make that up?

Clouds are difficult to see through and just running through them will damage you.
Terrain damage makes it harder to traverse and can leave you vulnerable.
DoTs cancel regen and causes damage.
Blindness, get this, blinds you.
and knockback just pushes you back some and does literally nothing else.
Please explain what makes knockback so special.

Notice how nobody, and I mean nobody wants a forceful set, that’s because the only time that knockback is even useful is if you are using wind.
Even at max level, I bet it will take atleast half of a dedicated build to get noteworthy knockback.

You’re basically asking why snow doesn’t burn people.

come on man you really have to vault in here and restart the argument after everything has died down,I’m fucking tired my dumbass thought having 3-4 arguments at the same time was a good idea do you expect me to come back at you with some constructive arguments that don’t sound like some drunk 3 year old that just smoked a pack was trying to prove the earth is flat?

I agree :sunglasses:

Wind and Shadow are the same speed bro, and have you noticed that both of those magics are known to do far more damage, as well as shadow being larger and having FAR better clashes.
