In no way am I saying these things are likely to happen, but I would enjoy seeing them in Arcane Odyssey’s story nonetheless
Again, feel free to yap along with me, I’d like to hear y’alls ideas too
Side note, my doodle thread sequel has painfully low engagement so go check that out if you’re interested (shoutout to the goat Mirage for being active on there )
I definitely think Julian and Revon will. Would not be surprised if Julian has a vendetta against Morden like Revon does agains the MC. Ulricus seems to both have his own thing going on as well as so far being uninvolved with the main story.
Maybe? I don’t see how as of right now, but I guess that’s part of being a twist villain. I do hope if it does happen there’s like some very minor foreshadowing so you can go back and say “oh that makes sense” after the twist.
I’m like basically certain this is what’s happening
I think Neviro is gonna team up with the Tiberians that fled Ravenna(plus maybe some people from Frostmill cause it’s kinda neglected by Ravenna), and kinda recreate Winterveil. Maybe the guy, forgot his name, that was leading the Tiberians could mentor/advise him a bit? He seems like he would have experience in that regard since he was leading the Tiberians.
I definitely hope for this too though I would prefer if we still get to see more important stuff in person rather than in journals. We only know about like Morden, Iris, and Neviro’s first meeting because of their journals and I think that’s kinda lame and something we should’ve seen ourselves. Obviously under different circumstances than us being in prison. That or we should’ve gotten to see the scene cut to their perspective for a little bit during the one month timeskip. Not like us playing as them but just a cutscene of them meeting for the first time.
My main motivation for him as far as joining them is his children
If somehow they’re able to piece together the disappearance of Elius and Carina to the MC, it could drive him to change priorities maybe (though I’m biased and really want Ulricus to be a good dad)
That’s mainly why I think so, the ambiguity can lead to a lot of different things
We know pretty much jackshit about him and his kingdom, but yeah the story probably won’t go this way (I like the concept though)
Ooo yes, this would be really cool and makes a lot of sense
Although, I wouldn’t personally want Neviro to abandon Ravenna in a way
Considering his own history, I’d imagine he feels some sympathy for the Ravennans that were left to deal with the kingdom after everything that happened (especially Calvus’ children)
So I dunno how I feel about this approach, but it is way more effective than kinda working from the inside out
(Don’t know if what I said makes sense or I read this post wrong but anyway)
Definitely. Cutscenes and dramatic one on one conversations are a must for the future.
Or because the known mercenary for the royal family to the point he earned the nickname “the bronze hound” feels motivated to attack the guy who killed the king
I figured something like this would happen like in a side quest where we start off helping him defeat Arwald, but by the time we get back to him after beating Arwald he’s learned what the MC did and attacks them.
I figured he’d kinda have to take Ravenna by force a bit. Just cause the Ravennan military still exists and probably knows he was involved in the murder of their king. That said they’re probably in chaos right now with the only high com in existence right now either run off to do something else or is like General Valerii who probably doesn’t even know what’s happening as the chaos has likely prevented him from getting the message. Regardless I think Neviro probably will be able to somewhat achieve his goal and get the Ravennan people on his side somewhat within the one month he told us he’d be gone before coming back.
The convo with Iris, and to a lesser degree Neviro, on Wind-row was definitely a good start, but we for sure need more. While I do enjoy when the MC gets to do things on their own like they will be in Skyhall, I really do hope after Skyhall they reunite with at least one member of the main group. Though I do think the MC is meeting one of the 3 characters that will be joining the group in Nimbus in Skyhall, so I guess it’s a bit important we get to know them well there too without the others first.
That was my guess too, especially since near the end of this sea it’s confirmed that “2 of the strongest curse users ever are gonna fight” or whatever, and honestly I’d be shocked if he meant anyone else by that
I would’ve expected it to be Akeem and one of Wotan’s sons based on Nilah saying only Akeem should engage one a son of Wotan if one appears. However, yeah “strongest curse users ever” does seem to imply Wotan Vs Warren.
A lot of wood, really really good wood, just not getting hit, or maybe having Vastus blood combined with the wood curse can make him pretty durable? Maybe he can just suffocate the fires by spawning more wood on top of them.
