i’ve never been attracted to someone romantically in my life so i wouldn’t know what i found romantically attractive in a person. i would imagine there have to be shared interests and a general interest in similar things.
as it is right now, i can’t tell the difference between a strong platonic relationship and a romantic one, except for the sexual aspect which results in heightened intimacy and social implications of ownership attached to it. the way i see it, the second is a direct result of the first, and the first is a direct result of the concept’s connection to marriage, which i have ZERO interest in ever pursuing in my life.
