Funny how three months later, The Loud House Revamped and its sequel would be deleted, reduced to atoms. It became lost media.
…or at least the sequel did. Somebody put up the entirety of the first one on the Internet Archive. Might sound fucked up, especially given that the world’s been on a censorship parade over the past couple of weeks AND with how I like to follow the lost media scene, but TLH:R really should’ve stayed lost, given that a lot of it is brazenly plagiarized. There’s also another reason that not enough people talk about IMO, y’all can look it up if you want
Anyway no update right now, unless y’all want a sneak at something I’ve been writing. I would share some really old ideas I’ve had lying around on my USB, but they’re typed like a really bad wiki article.
I haven’t gotten any work done recently, what the fuck is wrong with me. Oh and this thread now has one anon.
Found a furry RP game a few days ago; thing is that I don’t know the first thing about RP stuff (aside from how it’s kind of like theater stuff, which sucks for me since I was never a theater kid, along with memes). It does have a nice character creator, though; made a purple wolf boyo who I really like.
The photo mode is pretty fun. I just wish there was some sort of way to get more precise shots, or a portrait mode. The best shot I got was this one, with the Black and White filter.
…maybe I should’ve shot for a photography career, heh.
Oh right, y’all come here for ramblings about game ideas. I guess I do have something.
Do y’all remember those old Pokemon games that consisted of walking around a map and finding either stickers or models of other Pokemon so you could play as them, like Pokemon Legends, Pokemon Fighters EX, Pokemon Advanced, or even Pokeblox Meteorite (you’re a real one if you remember that)? I was wondering if I could dabble in making one of those. Monsters of Etheria kind of scratches the itch for an old Battlegrounds-styled creature game, but it feels too modern and is kind of in the grave right now.
Used to play though in my youth, it was fun just dicking around as one the legendaries. But yeah those kind of games probably won’t do well in modern times assuming you care about your game doing well
Trying to get back into working; figured it might be a good idea to save Energy Magic spells for later, since I’m low on ideas for those. Flavored Element-based Magic is also more fun IMO.
Not sure which of these Wind Magic spells I want to have as the support.
Also might be good to know that I’ve been banished to college now. Had my first class (Anthropology-related) today, and I got a Game Dev-related class coming up, but for some reason I just can’t get tech or sites to work for me when doing anything related to the latter. I can’t join the Discord server I need because the account I had to create under my school email got disabled (before I could even get into the site), and it seems like I need to install so many groupchat-related apps for it.
I also think it’s real weird to force anyone to just hit “accept” on the Terms of Service or Privacy Policies of a bunch of different services; already had to sign up for a groupchat app, some navigator app (I think? I haven’t touched it yet), and now a Google Classroom-like app. Am I the only person in my state who actually gives a piss about reading the ToS and PP? I know, I live in Late-Stage Capitalist America, so any regards for even the concept of retaining your privacy is out the door, but the point still stands.
