[ABYSS SEA] [Chapter 3] Day 5, to where they came

(Previous: [ABYSS SEA] [Chapter 2] Day 3, Mutual Survival)

Zeke Zimmer was within Ravena when the invasions first hit a few days prior
It was chaos, each mutated atlantean can be on par with the centurion, but even then, many of them can also go beyond that of a centurian before further growing

Over the few days, Zeke has killed a number of the atlanteans as well, and he eventually heard of King Calvus growing sick, then he went to the castle, and snuck around, he heard to much, down the king was losing his mind, his general, Julian, the glass curse user had to hold him down, while doctors, all which a weird coat on them trying to cure him? Whatever, he did not want to keep listening, he moved on, later found his Triasta of bronze within his own room, kept secured, and he took it, the weapons containing aspects of the kings Aether magic, if the king was going to go mad he must not have any extra weapons, and that mine, down in the basement so many trapped- if it wasn’t for the curse user being so close he would have gotten them all out, started a breakout, but he couldn’t, not with Julian so close

He snuck back out, and ran across the island to where his Reinforced Brig was, fought more atlanteans, it was endless, most of the centurians have already fallen, it was only a matter of time before he to would have fallen, and he needed what he could get to prolong his survival, once he returned to his ship, he set sail with his crew of a few deserters, they set off for the stepstones, to climb up high, unfortunately, they didn’t realize just how many Atlantean ships were around the base of the stepstones, then they turned, sailing towards the dark sea, where the atlanteans formerly came from, passing whitesummit along the way, now being followed by several Atlantean ships that thought it would be easier instead of continuing the struggles of the prey hiding in the sky or barricaded within an island’s interior

And as they sailed off away from the War seas, he gave most of the crew some of his older weapons, mainly guns so they could shoot at the atleanteans on the ship before they get close enough to board, those not given weapons would be at the coehorns, the fastest and quickest siege weapons to reload were being shot at the superior fortified atlantean brigs, and as they slowly inched closer he commanded one of his quartermasters to take control of the tearing so he could keep em off the back if they tried, as he held the stolen Triasta of bronze, standing at the rear of his ship as the atlanteans began to prepare their boarding attempt

It was going to be a tough night
