Maybe they can sense stronger people more easily so more of them swarm around them. This would mean that survivors wouldn’t just be able to gather around the most powerful person and live easily since it would be harder for them as well. This would then in turn mean some people would prefer to go off on their own to gather supplies since there would be less chance of them being noticed, which would probably make for some interesting stories.
(Looking back on this it looks like the answer to an exam question or something, I’m too used to writing like that now)
if anything the catacombs may attract atlanteans, seeing as the secret areas induce insanity
though, imagining a labyrinth type scenario, lost in the catacombs with several atlanteans hunting down the last remaining survivors in the syndicate base might be interesting, (though, that concept could also work for blackreach)
okay but also technically their hitbox would fuck w/ the Atlanteans since it’s like gonna be much smaller than their spirit energy and since vitality builds fire spirit energy they can just gaslight a horde into going the wrong way or just fucking straight up blinding them
Yknow it would be funny if there was this random Atlantean sailboat stuck in the veiling storms because it looks like the dark sea but isn’t in the dark sea so the captain is confused as heck
Imagine Atlanteans with Vitality builds end up being the leaders of entire Atlantean fleets like how we will eventually be getting our fleet system at level 150
what if oracles can use spirit energy to delay people’s transformation into an atlantean (and possibly even cure lost sailors)? would be interesting considering the only thing on par with Chaos, which caused the Atlanteans to form (Durza used chaos), would be Creation
