sorry for acting like an asshole btw
the thing is that the effect of the attacks scale up with level so i donāt think its necesary, as i said before right now the game isnāt complete and its in early state in the future there will be alot more fighting styles you can go with, there is no point in adding it then removing it
even if the second fighting style becomes useful for synergies and etc, iām still entirely opposed to the third fighting style
youād already have the synergy you want, and thereās not much to compensate for after that point, either.
as a magic example, if you were using earth and wanted something faster, you could use something like wind to make up for earthās lack of speed, and some things that synergize with it would already be fast enough to act as compensation for speed. (like fire (fast, synergy) and magma (slow, large damage))
this totally
but other than the weapon aura for your hands/legs thing, i donāt know what the awakening would actually be, aside from maybe damage reduction, but thatād take away from vitality builds even more (which are apparently struggling rn)
Scalded is a thing
thermo fist and sailor style doesnāt sound too great when i have to manage two bars, though
You really only have to care about thermo to actually have damage
iām fucking late, but the third slot for fs/magic is gonna be basically for ancient stuff most of the time honestly.
Frigid take
I got frostbite from reading it
Me who just m1ed him with the basic iron armor from Cirrus island:
Albeit I switched to thermo with the thermo dude right there in Ravenna
I stg game has sumn against me, in my Berserker playthrough everyone legit just blocked 24/7 and Iād get put into blockstun
Happened to me with Argos but everyone else just let me m1 them lol
Why arenāt merchants greedy people that take money regardless of who you are so negative rep players can use them
yeah even a few ship captains on merchant ships say āWhy am I laying down my life for this Money Grubbing Merchantā
even if the merchants are not being annoying based on alignment
do you really think a merchant would know everyone they trade with
because they see most people mabey once/twice
mabey coming back to a merchant mutiple times would make them start to recognise you then next time yo come to see them the grand navy pops out in ambush
I mean if youāre going conjurer, you really should mostly be using your weapons tbh
wtf no
While it is inevitable with the sheer amount of magics, I do feel that no individual magic feels unique. Honestly, Iād love it if each magic could just have 2 spells unique to a magic group. (Like, lightning, light, plasma, etc would have beam spells. Earth, metal, crystal, etc would have a wall spell. Water and light maybe would have a self-heal.)
I imagine it would be difficult to balance, but itād be nice to feel like thereās an actual difference between magics besides literal numbers.
Maybe with rare/lost spells thatād be better
