Are Good and Evil Objective?

I mean, even then, why would the general opinion of random npcs affect what you can do anyway

you are +1% evil
ez

How do you call someone’s opinion “incorrect”
It’s their opinion and besides, this is off topic anyway

Chaos does have a counterpart in Creation, but I’ve heard nothing of it being actually benevolent or involving itself in human/god affairs other than it made us, the ones who decide and perform both evil and good.

ye true, pretty funny how it went from a suggestion to a discussion about what evil and good means

Can you split the topic into 2 things so they can have their argument somewhere else?

still doesn’t make it objectively justify anything

lets say someone worships god “A”
god A’s religion calls for you to murder disbelievers to be righteous
everyone who worships god “B” absolutely despises this
god B’s followers therefore believe god A’s followers are evil, and vice versa

both of these could easily consider the other evil, evil isn’t mutually exclusive

@archrono opinions can be incorrect, actually

rep isn’t an indicator or good or bad intentions or good or bad hearted

If youre a “good” npc then why would you ever wanna be friends with a “bad” npc, same for players and npc interactions. If you dont agree with killing multiple people for no reason then why would you ever be friendly towards them

Yes I’m doing that now

Opinions are subjective, meaning there is no right or wrong. Only disagreement and agreement based on the general public and your own opinion.

I was asking why would the general opinion of npcs affect what abilities you can do with your weapon since, as we all know, it’s just subjective and an opinion, but it doesn’t matter anymore since you changed the description of these skills

A post was merged into an existing topic: Lost skills for weapons

Well actually If God didnt exist, moral values would be subjective. But I will not say anything else about this cause I think talking about religion is banned on this forum lol

both of these are subjective

religion is subjective too

Lol no

how is it not subjective?

Yes, basically everything that has been established within our conscience and cultural ideas are subjective.
