Hello all,
I’ll be opening the Clans > Clan Recruitment catagory soon, now that the Official Clan Hub has finally been shut down.
With this in mind… here’s how it’s going to work.
- Clan recruitment will be locked to trust level 2 (member) only. Clans of any size are permitted to advertise.
- A tag will be required. This is so people can filter for clan’s easier. You will have a few;
- pvp - For PvP-orientated clans
- pve - For PvE-orientated clans. PvE is used as an umbrella term here for subtopics like fishing, dark sea, etc. Everything that doesn’t focus on PvP pretty much.
- faction-subclan - Must include if the clan is a Grand Navy/Assassin Syndicate subclan. This must not be used when advertising your clan’s second clan.
- casual - A “chiller” clan. Does not strictly mean PvE, but means it’s a more of a lax environment. No sweating for infamy, must be online all the time, etc.
- competitive - Clans that aim for the leaderboard. Whether its the fame leaderboard or the clan leaderboard, this tag should be used if your clan is “sweaty”.
- A tag will be required. You can use any combination, but try and make it make sense. E.g. pvp, casual - or pve, faction-subclan, pvp, casual (for a pve/pvp casual subclan).
- A template will be attached when you try and make a topic. You don’t need to use it if you don’t want to, it’s there as a guide.
- The Clan Rewards system (from Forum Clan Rewards!) has been depricated, and will not be making a comeback. There are simply far too many clans. Also, to be fair, I cannot be bothered checking everyone’s Patreon status regularly.
Some etiquette to follow. Not the rules or anything, just some nice things to do;
- Include your clan’s Discord server!
- Don’t start drama in the replies. Just because you may dislike that clan doesn’t mean you should start anything in the replies.
- Only make a new post if your original post gets closed. Please refrain from bumping frequently. Leave it to every day or two. Bumps shouldn’t be necessary if there is discussion in the topic.
