The question was something like “will we get any form of queer representation in ao” and Vetex said something along the lines of “no, cuz I don’t want to misrepresent”. You can always ship characters yourself or make oc x canon’s, but Vetex said that he never plans on adding any canonically lgbtqia+ characters.

It’s a shame cuz the Odyssey and the general type of modern media that stems from it/took inspiration from it is generally liked by the lgbtqia+ community (once again, as far as I know). There are also a lot of lgbtqia+ people in Arcane Odyssey’s fandom, or at least in spaces that originated from the game. But we cannot demand representation, especially from a person like Vetex who’s as straight as a brick if you’ve took only 1 moment to look at the accounts he follows on Twitter

I think he said that homosexual people do exist but it’s just something that no one cares about in universe

I thought that I made it clear that I was not sure of said statement in the way that I presented it? I haven’t been active in the community to know about the discord message.
