I’m gonna guess the gunpowder fstyle has you light gunpowder on your hands which does damage to you but in exchange gives you the ability to do extra damage for a bit

I imagine using your arms as guns with some makeshift mechanism, and punching by shooting your own hands.
Imagine if it drawback-styled FS, where you cover your hands with gunpowder, and in return for more aoe and damage, you get some damage in return

I’ve always believed he was because it wouldn’t make much sense for a wood curse user to be one of the strongest characters otherwise
For him to have that much proficiency with his curse hes got to be one of the oldest curse users alive, to the point where he may have even gotten it shortly after curses were invented

The magic is visually appealing and it’s literally just a faster and better metal
worse than that, it’s constant, endless spikes impaling you from everywhere at once
