Empires Update Patch Notes (Discussion Thread)

grab moves probably, same as a player

This looks perfectly balanced, like actually

He better never nerf or buff this

Currently compiling all the times i got down thus far for seemingly Organic Reagents in Google Doc form. With some of the plausible reagents that could be organic left. (Aeroplasts, Hoarfrost Conch, etc.)

But overall yeah it seems decently balanced, it just begs the question of:

  • What’s the exact limit for the # of Reagent pots? 2-3? 3-5?
  • How many Reagents can grow at once per plot? 5? 8? 10?

Nah, what’s the price of the pot🥲

i assume 1 per pot with a limit of 10 pots on a small island

Alrighty, doc is done.

Contains all the plausible Organic Reagents, with their Galleon Values alongside with their Growth Time.

Feel free to comment or think i should add/remove a Reagent, and all that.

Auric seaweed farms will be goated, not because of any particular reason, but because I’m tired of going to the dark sea so I can do diving spots

Considering how merchants (sea vessels&deckhands) can sell all common to uncommon reagents, this feature will rarely see any use at all due to how long it takes to make the interesting ones (aside from golden apples, I’d find it more worthwhile to go and farm them).

Fun fact, at a value of 5000, the acrimony would have taken 50000 seconds to grow.

So 833 minutes, or roughly almost 14 hours to grow a single acrimony.

I average acrimonies every like… 300-400 hours? So that sounds like a wish

5000*10 = 50,000 seconds

50,000/60 = 833.333-

60*833 minutes = 49,980 seconds

50,000-49,980 seconds = 20 seconds.

833/60 = 13.333-

60*13 hours = 780 minutes

833-780 = 53 minutes

So 1 Acrimony if it were plantable would take:

833 minutes and 20 seconds.

Or

13 hours, 53 minutes, 20 seconds

I’m partly confident my math is right.

yea and every server closes like every 24 hours so it wouldnt be immposible to grow them…

I disagree, you can have these running, go farm the reagents manually (or do anything else), and then return to get the grown reagents. They will definitely be useful.
