Idk if its lore accurate but i really wanna see an earth or metal mage making a huge golem we have to fight.
Given the existence of the summon spell that was on the lost spell list prior to it being achieved, there’s a good chance it is canon
uhhmm ok there’s this liek boss idea that i had for a long time, it’s a medusa boss, she’s a mage and she has her awakening her first mind is ash her second mind is shadow and she can be found in the second range (insanity 2) of the dark sea. Her arena is a circular island filled with statues of people she had uhmm killed but like u know how when u look at the medusa you become stone so yeah stone statues, and she’s in the middle of the island above a very big crack that is unbreakable until u defeat her. Once u defeat her the crack breaks and there’s a bunch of treasure like chests maybe even cargo below it also if u look at her for more than 5 seconds like look at the direction she’s in you’d be turned into stone and she’d get a free hit
yes. That gave me new spell idea ill credit u
Revamp dark sea volcanoes to be really big, big enough to fit a mutated white eyes in it. Jumping in the volcano triggers the white eyes theres platforms inside the volcano and the white eyes splashes lava at you.
It would be a raid boss, and it would have a chance of dropping mutated white eyes core which is an ingredient that can spawn lava where ever you throw it, and it spawns a bunch of lava with sunken element or darksea essentia the throwing sunken element or darksea essentia with this ingredient creates a large platform ontop of the water
That would be a very… blazing idea…
that sounds good actually
I’ve got two:
Birth of Storm
Skyhall’s Flagship
And
Lord Hielfor Sky
Icarus’ Right Hand
Birth of Storm
The Birth of Storm is a one time only story bossfight. Instead of being against a person, it is a large Sky Frigate/Galleon armed with multiple weapons:
- Cloudfire Cannons
- Lightweight Mortars
- Chain launchers (Which will launch huge chains that attach to your skyship and slow you down temporarily.
- Cloud Harpoons (New siege weapon which will travel in a straight line then explode)
The ship will bombard you with fire during the battle, and also activate a couple of unique abilities like additional mortar fire and such.
To lower the ships HP you have to fire back with your own skyship - you’ll be given some Chain Launchers and Cloud Harpoons at some point before the fight.
You can deal bonus damage by hitting certain weak points of the ship with Cloud Harpoons.
It has no phases but will have a large amount of hp such as 40/50k so the fight is long enough to be memorable.
You can jump onto the Birth of Storm during the fight but your skyship is vulnerable during this time. You won’t be attacked by the enemies on deck if you do so.
Falling off, or having your ship sunk will instantly kill you with the message “{Ship Name} was sunk by the Birth of Storm”
After winning the fight, the Birth will crash into an island down below, and you’ll land your damaged ship. You then have to descend across islands, fighting enemies along the way to get to the wreck of the ship. On the deck, alone stands one man.
Lord Hielfor Sky
Icarus’ Right Hand
HP: 10000
Phase 1
“You’ve sunk my ship, ruined my honour and killed my crew. Get back down to where you came from, Sea Dweller!”
Key Abilities:
- Cloud Impale
After a short startup, launch a handheld Cloud Harpoon which speeds through the air, dealing damage in pulses around it. - Raging Sky
Strike down onto the arena in multiple locations with a blast of cloud energy using the Harpoon. - Grasp of Mist
Impale towards the player with the Cloud Harpoon. If grabbed, the player will be struck with multiple hands made out of clouds, blinded and sent to the ground. - Defensive Formation -
Hielfor holds up his shield and will resist the next attack completely.
Phase 2
At 6666 HP remaining
“Filthy Sea Dweller… you’re going to pay for that. Not like you ever should have came here in the first place.”
Hielfor will lose his cloak in this phase.
All abilities in the previous phase +
- Faster Movement
Hielfor will attack and move faster - Expulsion
A blast of Cloud energy is launched outwards with the Cloud Harpoon, knocking players away - can knock them off the deck of the ship. - Fleet Command, Lesser
Summons up to ten soldiers onto the ship to attack the player.
Phase 3
At 3333 HP remaining
“You shouldn’t meddle with Skyhall. Our business with Aesir is none of your concern. Begone, dirt!”
Hielfor’s amulet will glow a pale blue colour.
All abilities in the previous phase other than Fleet Command, Lesser. +
- Spirit Imbue
Using his spirit weapon Hielfor improves his own attack. Now all Cloud energy based abilities are followed up with a second hit of spirit energy. - Hover
Hielfor uses spirit energy to hover himself above the ground and move quickly across the ship. - Fleet Command, Greater
At the start of the phase, three caravel-sized, well armed skyships are summoned that fly around the arena. Marked by the boss launching a flare of cloud energy into the sky, they will occasionally be called to fire upon the player with one of three attacks.
[-] A salvo of explosive cannonballs
[-] A barrage of mortar fire
[-] A row of Cloud Harpoons
Only one ship will attack at once. However that ship will be a random one each time so the player has to react rather than predict when they see the flare.
Drops:
Birth of Storm has a 100% Drop for a pair of Chain Launchers and Cloudfire Cannons
For Hielfor, drops are 1/8 and are listed below:
1 Plate of the Right Hand,
2 Leggings of the Right Hand,
3 Helm of the Right Hand
Both give stats in agility and resistance.
4 Cloak of the Right Hand,
Gives stats in Agility and Armour Piercing
5 Gauntlet of the Right Hand

Misti Seabane, Cloud Harpoon
An Arcanium Harpoon imbued with Cloud Magic, wielded by Hielfor of Skyhall before being taken off of him at the Wreck of the Birth of Storm.
Unique Ability: Bombardment Call
Launch a small cloud blast upwards which explodes, causing bombs of cloud to rain down and explode.
Fortress and Skythought
A heavy steel shield used by Lord Hielfor, Icarus’ Commander. It was taken from him after a battle at the Wreck of the Birth of Storm.
Unique Ability: Defensive Movement.
Hold up the shield and temporarily gain increased resistance whilst this ability is held. After letting go of the ability, launches a shockwave which knocks opponents back outwards.
Silver Grasp
Amulet Type Spirit Weapon
Forged thousands of years ago by the Gods of Olympus, this amulet was found by the founder of Skyhall, and has been passed down the line of Skyhall’s chief commanders since.
It was stolen from Lord Hielfor at the battle of the Wreck of the Birth of Storm.
Unique Ability: Supercharged.
For a period of time after activating this ability, all moves from all sources casted by the user hit a second time with a blast of low damage spirit energy.
I spent too long on this can’t be bothered to proofread.
-a dual fight boss against 2 separate individuals that possess moves meant to cover the other’s shortcomings, making the overall fight more difficult due to it essentially being an unfair 2v1 with a pair that synergises well with eachother.
-an unusual “bossfight” that involves maintaining a timer through the usage of magic or some other means, failing to do so triggers the boss, which slowly chases the player and instant kills them, the timer is obscured by goons and minions that work for the boss.
-a more standardized boss with a specialized magic/spirit weapon/fighting style that’s capable of inverting player movement controls, possibly some kind of manic jester character or enigmatic persona.
(the 2v1 fight could very well be possibly some sort of “part 2” to elius and carina, considering they weren’t very relevant for much time so far, this fight is only possible in the merciful route, and the ruthless route will have a different set of new faces to fight against.)
(the rewards for both of these routes could possibly offer elius/carina and the unnamed new duo as supporting allies to the group, either as quartermasters or as friends on the outside of the main cast)
i love this one, plus considering we will be getting legendary ships to fight it would make sense if we got a ship boss battle in the story too
Speaking of boat boss fights, I’d like to see a boss fight where a nation that is slightly more advanced then the rest of the kingdoms(not by a lot just like a decade or 2), were to employ an experimental steamboat they have against us. It being experimental just to justify why there’s only one and they don’t have a bunch of steamboats going around their sea.
Yeah basically, if they wanted to go really crazy they could do one of these but it might look a little too advanced for the vibe of the game even if it isn’t really
This isn’t a submarine to be clear
I like these
I want a boss in a mechsuit of some kind
which, by the way, is totally possible in the AU, I remember someone telling me that steampunk level stuff could exist in some more technologically advanced areas of the warseas.
yo this is finally getting good posts, also I like the idea of more racist sky dudes:)
they are planning to add ironclads in the future anyway
oh alright then cool
yo bet that gives me an idea
