i mean, maple made me think again, and yeah the building update will 100% make much more pve players join in on the clan thing, you get a spawnpoint, you can build stuff there, idk what else you have but it’s gonna be really good to have.
thats exactly the reason why im welcoming the building update, its to give clans something other than killing people. im hoping that the updt will bring changes that makes pvp less significant for clans
yeah i fully agree with you. the balancing as of right now isn’t the best, and still needs some time. so adding 6(?) completly new builds will NOT help

spirit weapons should be priority after the dark sea, they’re literally an extremely important part of the game (that being builds themselves)
I agree (I am not in a clan so I don’t care about the building update) but nimbus sea is fairly important. As a compromise, spirit weapons should be added in the nimbus sea update.
This still confuses me. Building is JUST for clan players, and because of recent updates, clans have been squeezed further so they are JUST for pvp players (Being a PVE player in a clan is fuckin pointless right now).
So this is a percentage of a percentage of the community that gets to enjoy this update.
imma just say that i think vetex just doesn’t have any ideas for spirit weapons so keeps delaying them, until the sad downfall of him probably just cancelling them
only reason to be in a clan is for the bank

i mean i think the problem is clans don’t really give any upsides other than banks, unless i forgor something, so even pvp players don’t have much reason do they? other than being on leaderboard ig
bro, arcane odyssey has been out for a GOOD while, and is still not balanced enough, atleast imo.

wouldn’t you rather just want to know what they are, so you rather what a preview or smth, instead of them being in the game???
and how long will balancing take. its been half a year aince the game released, and theres still a clear meta that people abuse (the whole reason why pvp is hated)
also i know that i was just speaking as if i’m a casual but vitality builds would probably drive me up the wall considering that health regen is probably still as overpowered as it was, AND that there’d be even MORE health to deal with
way back in february my friend and i fought each other at sailor’s lodge and the regen coupled with the Big Motherfucking Building in the middle made the fight take SO LONG that once it was over it was enough for him to decide that the game’s player combat altogether is trash
well then what’s wrong with making it more unbalanced? everything will even out at the same time if we add spirit weapons during the chaos, why add new content when the game finally reaches a good equillibrium?
(also PvE players kind of don’t care rehehehe but ignore this point)
yeah imo in such a movement game as AO, i would hate having these long overdrawn fights with these fucking TANKS, that can maybe still do good enough damage because they have their own weapon system (otherwise literally no reason for spirit weapons to exist)
