tbh why not? it’s a fun system, it was already a good reason to do clans because of the bank, but now you have many more reasons, to have a place where you can set your spawn and get stuff.
and also an actual pve system that will give players a chance to get a good amount of infamy instead of pvp farming or smth.
What about non-clan banks? Or why just not to try ask people on the main clan’s hub to make their wars PLANNED, since it is way more civil and funnier.
because it isn’t, we have been playing all this time without it, or only a very small part of it (hopefully). and again, it’s a system where we need good balancing first, balancing begins by looking at the surrounding content, if the the other stuff isn’t balanced then vit stuff literally can’t be balanced.
either vit weapons would have needed to be on release or very close. now it’s too late imo
those are all good points, however camp markers are sought out and every time ive placed on in a war it has been destroyed. fortresses ward off pvpers(though it may incentivize a challenge) but mostly it gives a chance for pvers to ward off pvpers.
as for spirit weapons being a part of a big update, that wont work, as vetex specifically mentioned that spirit weapons will take at least half an update if not more. it itself is a relatively large addition that needs time and thought to be added, which is another reason why things that have already been planned and prioritized should be pushed out first.

I do believe building can be fun, but the remark about clans being for banks catches my eye. Currently, with how Clans operate, only the Clan Leader can take Galleons out of a bank, so you have to bug your friend to join AO, take the galleons out, then give them to you. Yes, there should be restrictions on who can take out how much money from a clan’s bank, but using them for a multi-membered clan is convuluted.
Also, I’m definitely missing something major here, but what PvE system? Last time I checked and if memory serves me right (which it won’t), PvE isn’t planned to affect clans at all.
Building itself might actually prove to be fun, if it’s executed properly. If it controls well and you can build just about anything you want (within reason, so that there’s no TotK contraptions flying around), it may actually get more players into clans.
Building update is just an update for PvP, really.
Which is why I’m so against it. If vet wants both pvp and PvE players to enjoy the game, don’t focus on stuff like this? And especially when PvE is drowning right now by virtue of renown players and PvPheads in general.
damn the moment i mention that the default ungodly health regen + more health would be a problem it just flies by people’s heads
i forget what the full plan for vitality is, but if even MORE health regen and maybe damage reduction is planned, then it’s going to be a fucking nightmare to fight them. i know that spirit weapons are meant to deduct health, but that doesn’t sound like a solution. they’ll either run like a bitch or kill themselves when they could’ve just… i dunno

yeah it definetly isn’t pve, i agree. but it’s also not specifically pvp because you also will build this stuff for again: spawn and whatever you can place there. and then it’s basically just standing around.
imo if vetex adds some pve system to it where pirates maybe attack it from time to time, it could very well be just aswell be regarded a pve system aswell as a pvp system. meaning again: we have a pve alternantive to nice infamy farming
