Born on a small sea cluster named as The Avian’s Sea consisting of 4 small islands, at the age of 6 his island and all 3 islands were being raided by powerful pirates to claim it as their own, scared for his life he abandoned his parents on a ditch and sailed away with a rowboat only bringing him only a week worth of food, a fishing rod and a book titled “Almighty Trinity.”
He sailed for months near the Dark Sea catching small fish and reading his book at the time of his sailing was the only thing keeping his sanity together, he had awakened his potential for Earth Magic due to his desperate situation, until he arrived on The War Seas, landing on the shore of Ravenna’s city, Rasna.
He was taken by a couple and was adopted being pitied seeing him begging for food on the streets as a child. He lived a normal life in Rasna, up until the age of 13 where he was still disturbed by the fact that he left his parents to the hands of despicable pirates, he wanted to redeem himself.
He left his household and did not want to see his foster parents ever again and signed up for the Navy, swearing loyalty to his higher-ups and eventually became a Major at 22, where he has a small reputation of being merciful to small pirates and letting them go, though the Navy does not know of this as he sometimes does missions alone as he never attempted to befriend any of his members.
He is seen always heavily sweating and he had developed a fear of the ocean ever since. And his Navy subordinates sometimes see him talking to himself when he is holding or rather clutching his book that he had since 6. His higher-ups consider him “a little insane”.

My oc thought it would be really funny to tell a couple of scientists that he could do magic. The rest I’m pretty sure you could piece together if you read Mordens dialogue.
Taken by the order as a young boy, Solomon does not remember that he is from a family of knights and warriors. His brother, David, grows up with the training in weapons Solomon did not get and joins the Assassin’s Syndicate to hide from the Order. He grows up ruthless and does not have the same kindness his brother has. Solomon, however, follows the normal AO storyline with minor changes- he loses his leg to white eyes, joins a guild of vigilantes known as the Arrlechino. He gains notoriety and his brother begins to notice that his brother may not be as dead as he seems. David spends his days bitter that his brother would leave him like this, while Solomon isnt even aware he has a brother until David is too far gone.

She had discovered and joined the Quicksail crew after the duo of Asura and Mayumi had saved her from the grasp of the Grand Navy, feeling as though she owed them greatly, she had joined the crew as an enforcer.
Ezra Argus - The Thunderous Diver - War Sea’s Treasure Hunting Association
A diver who conjures weapons of lightning. Mostly interested in diving and exploring, but can hold his own in a fight. Travels the sea in search of legendary treasure, and perhaps, the treasure that has dodged the entire War Sea’s treasure hunting guild. The one and only thousand year trench, said to hold the most ancient and powerful weapons known to none.
Asura Argonaut - The Raging Captain - The Quicksail
The captain of the Quicksail crew, known for being part of the Empyrean Company’s main handymen. The crew wanders the sea doing whatever the company requires. Asura does not care for most of the objectives of the job. Despite his title as “The Raging Captain”, he is unusually calm about everything, not even caring when Akira Kamisato destroyed an entire Navy warship for fun. He specializes in magic, and usually uses it to fight when his allies are unable. He sails the sea for no other reason than it feels nice being out of the house, especially after he accidentally blew it up.
Mayumi Yue - The Patient Light - Quicksail
An often dimwitted girl who finds it next to impossible to do anything. Dresses in a maid outfit due to the recommendation of Akira, who thought it to be hilarious. Mayumi often finds herself in many tight situations where she has to fight her way out of. One such would be accidentally breaking the execution stand during a public execution. However, her dimwitted mind is her greatest strength in combat, providing an unpredictable fighting pattern that usually dumbfounds her enemies. She sails the seas due to her attachment to Asura, being friends since childhood. They have no romantic attraction.
Raleigh Steel - The Bleeding Edge - Unaffiliated
A young adventurer out for discovery, and to create the most powerful fist in existence, the so called “bleeding edge” that he had seen in stories. In reality, the bleeding edge was a sword that was used by a legendary swordsman who wandered the plains of the eastern War Seas. Raleigh, having no skill with a sword, decided that it would be best to create a fighting style imbued with his gift in steel magic to create the strongest fist, that would be stronger than the bleeding edge that he had admired for his entire childhood. He strives to become the best and decides to begin his journey, leaving his family (who were very supportive) behind as he ventured out into the War Seas, hoping to discover the power that lies in his fist.

anyways yeah maddox isn’t a murderer though he sure wouldn’t be afraid to kill if he needed to protect what he cares about (his axe and his friends, though his axe in some cases comes first)
