Vetex’s main argument was he doesn’t want us to flip flop our builds, yet you can easily do that with any other build quite easily
Yet magic has to go through hell while not expecting to return in order to change that 1 aspect, while it makes sense that magic should be the hardest to change, it should not be that obscenely difficult
Vetex YOU change any aspect of your game and story whenever you want, but when we the players decide to pick a magic on a “early access” game with constant changes, suddenly its our fault
Man even if changing magic is easy I doubt I’d want to do it that often because every time you do you end up losing every lost spell scroll you’ve invested into it.
This will become the case even more so with updates as more get added lost spells get added (and if the ones that we have now actually get buffed into viability )
Not my point, every game before this has had magic be the main thing with weapons and fighting styles existing to complement them.

The only difference with this game is that you can invest fully into something like weapons or fighting styles and still be viable. This is the only game in the series to let you do that
You’ve always been able to swap weapons and fs on a whim now the only difference is that you can play with only these
Like it or not magic is the main component of the au game series and it’s always going to be the main focus since that’s what the game is all about. It’s not going to exactly mirror all the other styles of play and their flexibility
what is your definition of difficulty exactly, because finding essence is extremely easy.
its just unbelievably tedious.
if you think walking around from island to island until you hit the lucky 8.3% after walking across every inch of mount orthys for hours upon hours is difficult, then I’d like to see you play a difficult game lol.
