Alpha began to take out his phone, apparently rummaging through it to find something unbeknown to the others. He took one slow tap towards the middle of his phone, with loud, ‘snazzy’ music playing from the speakers. Just then, the private plane landed, having all the villains, as well as Mr. Almondo, exit out of the plane with elegant apparel. One-by-one, they leisurely went down the red-carpeted steps. When off the stairwell, they began to gather near each other and initiated a straight line position. Mr. Almondo was the last to depart the plane, making sure to tip the pilot a $100 bill.
Once Almondo catched up with the group, an expression of curiosity showed on his face. “Is that… music playing?”
Alpha lightened up at the fact Mr. Almondo acknowledged the music he was playing. “Yeah, it sure does boost the whole mood of the mission!”
Almondo just stared at the man. Even without words, Alpha knew to turn off his music. His face tilted towards the ground as if he were a sad puppy.
The night was cold, and wind swept across all of their faces. Almondo rolled up his sleeve to briefly view his watch. “Ah, it’s 10:43 PM. It seems that we’re late as the party is just about to begin shortly. We won’t be able to make it in time, but still rather timely nonetheless. If only one of you could control your bodily urges and not have to get rid of their spicy burrito that they ate earlier today.”
“Sometimes, you just have to go with your gut feelings.” Alpha displayed proudly.
“Alpha, remind me, how did your guts feel after that burrito? Sometimes I feel as though you’re just one gigantic dog. Let’s get to the limousines, shall we?” Almondo led the way as three limos were set up to carry the group to the White House. One was for Team Blue, another for Team Pink, and the last limo consisting of Mr. Almondo and both of the team leaders. They all drove off, with police escorting them from both the front and back.
Mr. Almondo sat across from both Kevin and Koyl, the leaders from both teams that were a part of this mission. “I expect that both of you keep your teams in check. As discussed earlier, it is imperative that you tell not one that you work for the DVP, you’re simply my assistants. The only ones who will know who you really are are the ones I will introduce you to, such as the President or Vice President.”
“Understood.” Koyl said in a semi-bothered tone.
“Sounds like a plan.” Kevin said more enthusiastically. With his pointer finger, he decided to develop small shards of ice into his glass in order to make his drink colder. “Want one?”
“Ah, no thanks Mr. Laury, I don’t drink that often. The only thing I ever really drink is water and coffee, my two favorite liquids.”
“You don’t drink booze, how come? Everyone likes to drink.”
“It’s… a long story. Anyhow, we seem to be closely arriving towards the White House. Some very well known figures will be here, mostly popular politicians. Remember, at the start, you guys can have at it with all the caviar and fancy foods on a stick that you want. Later on, I will notify you all to come and meet the President with the earpieces that should be behind your ear. Just don’t forget the purpose of the mission, to protect the guests.”
The limo came to a stop, with loud piano music playing from outside the vehicle. “I hear fancy music, we’re here.” Koyl stated. All eight of them began to enter in with Mr. Almondo. The venue was bright with yellow light that compared nicely to the creme-colored walls. Lots of figures who seemed important were there, but there were too many to distinguish who.
The villains tried in their best attempt to follow Mr. Almondo, but the main space was too crowded. In the distance, they could see Mr. Almondo shaking hands with multiple men on a stairwell, but they couldn’t distinguish who he was talking to. They then all headed up to the top of the stairwell, disappearing within their sight.
“Well, I guess I’ll just be snooping into somebody’s conversations. Toodaloo!” Amelia went off into some completely random direction, with Nico and Orion following suit. Alpha began to sniff around, leading himself to the direction of the best smelling food. Starr, Koyl, and Kevin were all left together, not entirely sure what to do next.
“Are the preparations set?”
“Yes, Overseer, the preparations have been met and we are to initiate the killings.”
The mysterious group were all dressed in dark gray capes with a golden pin attached to their cloaks. The one addressed as the overseer had his eyes glowing the color of a crimson red, slowly deactivating his eyes. “Good, I know you will do this m-mission with ease. If not, I’ll m-make sure you re-relive your w-worst nightmares.”
“We understand.”
“Now eh-excuse me. I’ll b-b-be on my w-way now. I have other m-matters to ge-get to.” When the man left, all that remained were three cloaked figures upon the roof of the White House.
“The Overseer made sure to have the White House security team within the camera room in a trance, that way, they’ll be busy for the time being in order to sneak in better. I’ve also made sure to deactivate all of the cameras within the White House. In short, they have no idea that we’re here.”
“Well, well, well, you’re genius really entangles me. This plan will surely go smoothly.”
“Not too fast, I’m sure he brought them here. The President is very conscious about security, so I’m sure some of the DVP themselves have come to make a special appearance. If so, which is most likely the case, it seems it will manage to make our goal much easier.”
“So, in short, what you’re saying is that I get to have even more fun today? How exhilarating! As I say, the more blood, the more fun!”
