ahhh, the most destructive and one of the largest magics in the game.
apart from destroying a whole town in one q blast, explosion can clash quite well and clear a few status effects. the fx is nice (in wom looks a bit too gassy) but its a good magic to start with if you like it.
the speed and damage is not very good, as many other magic that deal the same damage are faster, however the size and destruction gained do not make a very big difference.

explosion synergizes well with heat-based magics, but petrification is not very viable and other magics have better synergies.
overall, explosion is nice to have as a magic size troll element (though water surpasses it in stats) or to throw a q blast at someone who is using a multi blast and follow with a heavier hitting magic.
the effects are cool too, and it is well rounded as an exploration or support magic, not for pvp.

so slowly apply more and more DoT until your enemy burns to death
