I’m against it purely because resetting every single file would be extremely annoying for multiple people.

99% of people would click no, it defeats the purpose of a level reset
If people want a level reset, they get the level reset, if they don’t want a level reset then they don’t get a level reset.

Because it would be annoying. And the point of a level reset is to give people a sense of nostalgia for the beginning of a game when any half competent human being knows the most memorable part of any story is when it ends.
but if you cant experience the story, you’ll never experience the ending
the entire purpose of a level reset would be so players don’t storm through the storyline, making all the low level content meaningless
the reason i want a level reset is so that i can actually experience the game like a newcomer without having to make a new file…
