Okay I can NOT take it anymore omg, can one of the devs PLEASE look into the chat filtering. I think it’s a bug, like it has to be, because there is no reason chats should be getting ####### this often, especially over stuff that doesn’t make sense like a " . "
Wait people actually verified?
huh
Found it. Make losts cost around 475-550 ish points, forcing them to heavily lean into magic and barely able to use ult art on current weapons.
Thought people would boycott like I did.
we succumbed
To this day I am unverified.
Rest easy in knowing that I, too, am unverified. You are not alone in having basic pattern recognition and a sense of online privacy.
Cosmetic Changes I’d Like To See
Fix solid magic imbues looking like shit for no good reason
New Earth Texture Reverted
It looks bad and is not even consistent. Cernyx’s attacks, for example, use the old texture until they explode. Even the stone parts in the map use the old texture. Why should magical stone be rougher than natural stone?
Lightning Particles Changed
Particle effects in lightning magic, in my opinion, should be reduced, changed, or removed entirely. This has been touched on by other people in this topic.
Cloud Reduction Setting
A setting that would allow severely limited devices to render attack clouds as something that isn’t a laggy mess of particles. I’m not sure how it would work. Really just a thought.
Better Magic Circle Customization
I bitch about this a lot, but I strongly dislike the new magic circles that came with full release. It’s not the fault of the designers; the new circle packs are awesome. My issue is with the tiers.[1] I play hybrid builds primarily, and I’m stuck with the boring low tiers. I paid for the entire pack and get a bunch of nondescript circles in return.
“But you’ll get access to higher tiers when the level cap increases!” By the time it reaches that point, I’ll have graduated college.
I’ve made a topic and a suggestion about this.
Combat Music
I do not miss World of Magic’s standard combat music. It was generic especially after hearing it so many times. But it would be nice to see some environmental combat music for your average enemies, based on the island you’re on, or if you’re sailing the high seas. I would find it coolest if you did something like Hollow Knight, where the environmental music adapts to be more intense when fighting a stronger foe, but I understand that would take a while to do, and some music just isn’t easily adapted in that way.
I personally dislike the “dangerous foe” combat music (that has been around since WoM as well). It’s just kind of harsh on the ears and not enjoyable to listen to, and I would think other people would agree.
Unified Name List
Right now, NPCs have access to a bunch of given names and surnames that are not available for use by the player. MY given name is one of them, which has been an irritation since the day I first played WoM. I propose giving players access to all NPC name lists, even ones related to kingdoms.[2] It would allow us to make our characters truly our own by giving them a true origin in the form of a surname from a kingdom, instead of just some random sailor.
Nighttime Sailing Music
Though I am a huge Zelda fan, I absolutely adore the new sailing theme. Once again, this is something that has annoyed me since February 25, 2023, but why does the music stop at night? It already lowers in pitch like every other theme in the game does.
I’m not shaming ya’ll for not giving in, but at some point it’s kind of just like you stop caring about the potential risks
I mean I’m sure there’s something they could do with it that I wouldn’t like, but 1 I don’t know what those things 100%, and 2 I’ll probably be okay
Well, actually, there’s probably like a 40% I end up regretting it to some extent, but oh well
It was never about the privacy, it was about sending a message.
erm acthually you cant send a message because you havent verified yet ![]()
Clearer/Bugged Cooldown Indicators
Clearer Cooldown Indicators
Sometimes it’s kind of hard to tell when a move is ready or not, especially when the environment is dark (the bars blend in) or when I’m fighting for my life and looking a mess in the middle of a battle. This has sometimes led to me mashing a move’s button trying to cast it (to no avail) because I’m unsure/confused on whether it’s off-cooldown or not
Perhaps cooldown indicators could be clearer? Maybe they could be colored differently and/or have an outline, similar to how the bars are displayed for Ultimate Arts. Maybe the move’s name could be made slightly transparent to indicate it’s not ready yet? Better yet, maybe a visible countdown (like Keiko said) next to the move.
Bugged Cooldown Indicators
Currently the cooldown indicator bars for Ultimate Arts and Enchantment (the spell) are kind of bugged. I find this happens if you unequip and re-equip your magic or switch to another magic while the spells are on cooldown. These have led to awkward cases where the move would incorrectly flash/display that it’s ready when it actually isn’t and, because I’m stupid, I would be trying to cast it
For Ultimate Arts, the bar will simply incorrectly display as full after unequipping/re-equipping or switching magics/fs/tools
For Enchantment, the bar showing its cooldown will suddenly become ~1.4x longer/faster, incorrectly displaying that the move will end earlier than it actually does. For some reason, this does not happen if the added length of the bar would exceed its maximum[1], and it will continue to display the cooldown correctly
Example (before and after unequipping/re-equipping or switching magics):

For some odd reason this doesn’t seem to happen with any other move, only Enchantment spells?? This is discrimination against support-oriented players ![]()
Which happens at around a ~70% full bar ↩︎
orrrr
just a countdown
hi so i have no idea why i didn’t think of that ![]()
Yeah a visible countdown would be amazing (i’ll add it)
Can we like…get rains to wash away dirt? Or at least do so consistantly
a pocket anchor, an anchor ship attachment or to may/captain murasa the darn thing, yarrrg decisions…
I thought soaked already did this
Well, maybe not…so while we’re on the topic, can we make it so tide potions clear dirt since they make you soaked?
thats what they meant by consistently
its meant to do that, but it doesnt work a lot of the time (at least from personal experience)
Adding onto this, can there be a setting where you can toggle if you get a small popup (or maybe a sound, could be an option for either or, or for both) for whenever you try using a skill/spell that is on cooldown? It could be similiar to the not enough stamina popup for the sword step skill. There have been many times where I’m spamming a skill to use it and don’t realize it’s on cooldown, mainly b/c I’m thinking that there’s a lot of input delay.
This would be a really nice QoL addition though
