I mean they kinda supported calvus who commits a systemic cleansing of winterveilian survivors, tortured beringer and murdered him, and we’ll probably find out more of their warcrimes as the story goes on.

I don’t have any idea why everyone started theorizing that the Order is a group of misled people trying to save the world but with horrible methods, all because of one line from Tech.

It could very well just be that the Order is trying to harness this power that is threatening to devour the Sea Clusters, and use it to rule over the world; Calvus literally says they’ll unseal an ancient power, which they probably intend to use to further their power and control over the world. They would still technically “save the world”, but for selfish reasons, they could still credit themselves with helping the world and they wouldn’t be too wrong about it, but that wouldn’t excuse them having ulterior motives, or being clearly evil.

tbf ancient greeks conceived of ‘space’ very differently from us, they first believed it was made of 4 elements like everything else, then later some believed it was a spherical celestial realm around the earth filled with a light, invisible quintessential substance that also naturally orbital in circles. it might be closer to the christian view of heaven (they also used to believe that heaven was in space, after all) than our modern understanding of outer space
and it is well known that zeus was king of the greek gods, and therefore the ruler of their realm

Man I really do like this confirmation, most people just kinda ignore it (semi-understandably, its hard to work with sometimes), and It’d be cool to see in the future.

I always imagine Ouranos to work kinda like Takako-Uro from JJK, with the sky being a physical construct that he could innately manipulate, and could interact with everything beneath it. With him also being able to conjure mist and clouds that could rain anything that exists in the heavens (he’s notably named in something related to rain).

I imagined Zeus would gain this kind of ability which would allow him to conjure space into lightning, like transforming elements under the heavens straight into lightning, and having better control of it from there.

Cronus i don’t care about, but he’d possess the same thing with a mix of his own Authority.

wasn’t he just a puppet being controlled by hades rather than serving him? dont think hades would really care about what happens to him (and hades is going to die soon anyway so theres that)

I think future Peacekeeper definitely is stronger than Apophis as she killed a living God, and the only other person who is capable of that is Cursebeard

i think its because calvus is invaluable to them^[1] and the genocide of winterveil^[2] isnt that big of a deal to drop him from the faction

because its more fun to think that they’re more antiheroes (good goal but bad way of achieving it) than it is to assume they’re just genocidal maniacs that want to “save the world” by ending it

Yeah, them having a genuinely good goal but abhorrent methods just seems more interesting to me than them wanting to do something good so they can do something evil.

Saving the world so they can conquer it might be a goal of any Keraxe people in the Order though.

im not 100% sure but i do think vetex said that nobody in keraxe (maybe only high ranking members like wotan) were part of the order

I think it was just that Wotan and Keraxe in general won’t be working with them. I’d be genuinely surprised if there’s no members of the viking kingdom in the order of Aesir.

It would be interesting if there was zero relation and they were just separate groups but my bet is either Jarson or Tiwaz will be high lords (that we either fight much later on than Vimir and/or are significantly weakened/fought with an ally.
