Here’s an idea: Delete AO’s mechanics and replace it with ultrakill’s mechanics

if we made ultrakill like gameplay in AO I think we could be getting somewhere…

Add a ridiculously difficult boss at the end of the storyline that fights you only if you kill all of the bosses and have an innocent kill count of over 10,000. The boss is actually Mayor Tilly, who was secretly the world’s most powerful mage all along. All of her attacks have multihit akin to pulsar, albeit more rapidly. She also moves like a player that has access to Calvus’s and Elius’s burst movement options.
