This is what happens when you get people who never touched the changes to complain about changes they’ve never gotten to test.

Anything 100% or over was completely obnoxious and gamebreaking. I don’t understand why it takes people 5 dashes to cross one of the biggest islands in the game to even begin to consider “yknow maybe this is too much but anything less than that is fine.”

Like what do you want it to be, 10? You can’t even get halfway with 20 if you aren’t using any Agility.

Post jewel effect nerf, but pre musgravite nerf, the max without using theurgist was 75%. You’re probably gonna tell me that a 25% difference does not matter, but regardless, that is one of the most tonedeaf comments I’ve ever received. Hope the other testers aren’t like you

Agility gets a reduced effect on leaps and am even further reduced effect on dashes. It doesn’t even reach 100% for TJump nor does it reach 90% for dashes, which it will for the gems if you minmax it completely.

Agility’s effect was also further reduced on momentum, which is the primary driver of distance.

When you are only factoring in velocity it’s simply Speed × TimeApplied. If you are factoring in momentum it’s Speed × TimeApplied + 0.5 × Speed²/Deceleration.

In other words when momentum factors in there is now an exponential effect on distance travelled.

260% Agility took about 5 dashes to fully cross Sameria, 200% took about 8, 100% takes about 16, 0% doesn’t even get remotely close.

You say read the trello like I wasn’t the one who gave the number values.

wait wait wait…what was the max possible agility per jewel? wouldn’t the max have been 100% without theurgist?

It’s 75% without Theurgist, which is fine. He literally just wants to cross islands and leap skyscrapers in a single bound.

right so the thing I got this mixed up with is the boost 400 agility gives (check out the dedicated topic) apologies for that one, though you are actually exagerating what 100% is like

btw since you’re here fluect can you confirm there will be no softcaps on agility when it’s a jewel substat

50% × 2 = 100%

the point I was trying to make before that is that I find misleading to use a video where all values were effectively doubled

If there is a softcap then it would probably be done if the base jewel effects are buffed.

The Musgravite reduction was done to slightly increase the base values while avoiding the need for a softcap.
