“Thats the point” a lot of people dont like it, It takes newbies weeks just to figure out what the point of the game is. Also the combat is super slow paced and all you can do in the beginning is grind the isle of etrea (i think thats what its called i dont remember.

There is legit like 10 npcs that point you to Erisia at the starter island and you learn the controls. Beyond Erisia it’s just a choose your own adventure and you only really need to go to Erisia for glider or blindseer.
