Problems with AO

Get a faster boat dummy, also palo town to lime stone takes just a bit over a minute with a caravel, if you cant afford caravel then stop being broke

Good ol friend chicken and rice

Man Iā€™m hungry now. All this debating has gotten me hungry.

Imma step out, anyone want anything?

Iā€™ve done it 3 times

Everyone started the game the exact same, in the sense that nobody knew what the map looked like, knew what the quests were, or any of that. Even if you had scoured the entire Trello for information for months, every single still had 0 actual experience playing the game and there were tons of things I didnā€™t know

Have some tiramisu

Youā€™re asking a rowboat to hunt pirates :skull:

A cookie with a side of popcorn please

clearly you have established you are not a casual player (two max files) , and if youā€™re sticking up for the little guy so to speak then let them explore for themselves. exploration is quite literally one of the main draws of the game. let them go and check out all the islands and get some exploration tasks done while it passively levels them. I donā€™t understand how exploring a fully-developed world provides a negative first impression

i have a level 66 file with 5 hours on it without using any optimal strats and having no gear at all

Listen, remember Iā€™m playing devils advocate here. I love the game, love the atmosphere, I was practically a giddy little schoolkid when I was exploring all the new islands. Iā€™m just trying to make you understand that not all people are like us, they donā€™t ā€˜appreciateā€™ things like that. I have a friend (aforementioned as I tried to get people into the game), this friend skips all cutscenes, all dialouge, in every game he is in, he wants to get to the content he finds fun and he just wants to play that. Does that make his way of enjoying the game ā€˜wrongā€™ versus ours? Not necessarily.

you donā€™t have to sink the ship g you still get some loot / frequent scroll chests by just killing the crew (who are incredibly low level as long as youā€™re not fighting fortified / reinforced / heavy ships)

Strange order. Caramel Popcorn?

Too bad both my times were really bad.

We all start the same, but end up differently and doing different things. Some people have it worse and some have it better.

Salted caramel

what? why are you trying to insinuate that people who donā€™t want to experience the gameā€™s content are part of the reason the game is bad? maybe they just shouldnā€™t play if they really hate the story / content that much man idk

Oh, keep in mind treasure charts donā€™t drop til you are around level 35~ish. I remember this distinctley cause I got nothing from quite a few of them whilst exploring around frostmill in the early hours.

Yeah, but youā€™re asking much for someone who still has and uses a rowboat fr

idk man I was raiding shit half my first day till me n my homies eventually got folded cause we jumped a fortified pirate ketch

No, Iā€™m saying that there are people who just donā€™t care about story. That they just want to do silly quest farming or boss farming or pirate hunting- and getting to any of those areas of the game can take a while- hence frustration.

I also said that the way other people enjoy things is not necessarily always bad or wrong if it conflicts with yours. The man who got this whole thing started could just find the 2 minutes of sailing mind numbing, and once the atmosphere and mystery of exploration is gone I can see where heā€™s coming from there. Does this necessarily make him wrong for getting frustarted though? I wouldnā€™t say that. Some people just donā€™t have the time to waste, and want to get into the thick of things as fast as possible.

Also full female crew whenā€¦
