I donāt think thatās what it means, theyāre not gonna swim across the dark sea to get you, youād have to lure them onto your boat and survive till you get out
I dunno man, I see pirate captains do it all of the time when I raid ships so I can assume the exact same thing happens with sirens
it might mean that when they despawn they just donāt respawn
