I don’t think that’s what it means, they’re not gonna swim across the dark sea to get you, you’d have to lure them onto your boat and survive till you get out
I dunno man, I see pirate captains do it all of the time when I raid ships so I can assume the exact same thing happens with sirens
it might mean that when they despawn they just don’t respawn

I’m guessing that shovel and fishing rod progression will be worked on now. He’s added 3 monetization-related things, and the update is estimated for late this month while there’s still tool progression, rare abilities, 3rd weapon skills, secret stuff, and balancing + bugfixing to do.
