Can we make weather events like Tornados, Tsunamies and Icebergs spawn more, thank you, they are more rare then god damn sunkens.

I’m actually about to snap and I don’t even care about explaining why anymore cause I’ve already done it like 30 fucking times. Here’s a tldr for all of you who didn’t read any of them, somehow, or you’re new to here, in which case I’m sorry as these people have probably made it very difficult for you to use the thread as intended.

For those who plan to post here, Only post patch notes or new information/media, replies directly to said game updates, and links to topics to actually talk about and discuss them (so dumbasses don’t keep doing it here which floods the thread).

Actual discussion (as I said commenting on patch notes is fine as long as it doesn’t get into replying to replies) or off topic things in here will result you in getting a punishment of my liking and I have barely any sympathy for some of you people anymore so please stop ignoring these rules. I should not have to babysit this thread.

Once again, I want to remind people of the rules and etiquette that should be shown on this threat until we can do something else about it. This is a post that a lot of people rely on for patch notes, images, and dev updates, and a lot of people read this post. What they want to see is exactly those things, without having to scroll through random discussions that belong elsewhere. These rules apply specifically to the Reminders for AO thread (all parts).

Posts:
Please only post either:

• Trello update (includes new patch notes, card update, etc.)
• Twitter/X post
  • Only post twitter/X updates if it contains new information. (Leaks, showcase videos, dev updates.)
  • QOTD and images not of new features do not count.
• Discord news/dev update/leaks - Same rules as Twitter/X posts.
• New Patreon content - ONLY POST THE BLURRED VERSION - DO NOT LEAK THE FULL PATREON POST OR YOU WILL BE MUTED

Replies
Please follow the rules:

• Direct reply to a POST (see above) is allowed.
  • E.g. User1 posts a dev update on new magic visuals. User2 replies: “Vetex also stated that ___ magic will be revamped!” THIS IS ALLOWED
    • Users can not reply to User2’s post. Take that to the Discussion Thread
  • If you don’t have anything to add to the note, and you just want to say something like “wow that looks cool,” please refrain from doing so in this thread if someone else already said something similar. This is so the thread can be easier to read without scrolling through comments that don’t give any updates.

What’s not allowed

• Posting leaks of patreon (this will result in a mute, if it was unintended, please delete it immediately.)
• Discussion about updates/patch notes etc. Use the Discussion Thread Your message(s) will be deleted, and if it’s a repeat offense you will be muted.

Repeated rule breaks will result in a mute ranging from 1 day to 1 week - depending on severity (in this case, how many times you’ve broken the rules/your general attitude in this thread)

In case you were wondering why there are rules for this thread:

Reminders for AO was a thread intended for posting Trello updates for the game, which started back in World of Magic. It hit the forum’s topic limit of 10k messages multiple times, but mainly due to discussions and debates about updates that sometimes became hundreds of posts long, which made it a hassle to find the next actual update.
Due to this, there were people who didn’t want discussion happening in the thread, and some forum mods agreed, which led to Cryonical & Divanochi essentially handling the thread’s moderation.
Previously when people went off-topic, the posts would be moved to the discussion thread by moderators, but it quickly also became a hassle due to the amount of derailing, so Cryo made a bunch of announcements about it (see above).
Thread moving ended up turning into message deletion, which I’ve been handling for the past few weeks, but because there is still frequent discussion, we decided to finalize on some rules and take the thread more seriously.

TL;DR (this is only for the above paragraphs READ THE RULES!!!):
People want to read updates/patch notes.
