they can see further then 3 feet infront of them
I cant
the cope and crying that some people here have it, what the matter? cant be toxic and steal people hard work, how sad, maybe next time learn how to fight and maybe u wont need to feel then need to attack pve people or when people they are very vulnable
they dont wanna deal with my wind mage or my crystal mage’s pulsar
or my wind mages blast
or my wind mages UA explosion
or my wind mages. . .
Don’t know why Vetex even reverted the change. Keeping 50% of your cargo when you die to zeus saying fuck you in particular would make a lot of player much happier dying in the dark sea than they are right now.
Multiple topics have been made on the unfair rng in the dark sea, as well as the toxic people sinking dark sea expeditions.
This would have been literally one of the best changes, yet Vetex seems to actively hate letting his playerbase have a break every once in a while.
You’re absolutely right, there’s little to no chance this does get through.
Does that make it a good thing? Hell no.
You’re talking a delusion, what people are trying to prevent here is groups of players jumping people that get out of the dark sea after several hours of high risk grind.
Getting back to the bronze sea should be when you’re relieved, not when you’re at the greatest risk of being fucked over by random bullshit.
People like you ranting on about shit like this is exactly why godawful ideas like being able to delete another player’s hours of grind in an instant get the validation they need to stick around.
or being fucked over by random dipshits (then again random dipshits are kinda random bullshit, take a sip of apple cider everytime shit is said in this thread)
That’s what I was referring to.
There’s no greater random bullshit in the game than running into a group of assholes that feel like being assholes for their own amusement.
Literally nothing in the dark sea holds a candle to that.
Assuming storage items spawn on the sea when sunk, there’s no point in reverting this change as it just made it consistent with how previous sinking mechanics work (you can theoretically salvage all stuff if an allied ship is nearby)
you are only considering “keeping it the same” not “how could this improve gameplay”. this is why you are coming across as really dumb
For one thing, we’re only working on assumptions right now (where does the storage stuff go? Does it disappear into the void? Or does is appear as if it were on the deck?).
If you never see your storage again (meaning all parties lose) then of course it should be reverted; otherwise, there are ways to salvage lost loot.
My brother in christ, PVP is part of the game. There is also no indication that people can even TELL that you have Cargo, let alone STEAL it. Your only point here is toxic people, and they are the minority of people.
does the trello mention the contents of storage being emptied into the world, or it is just deleted?
The wording seems to be “lost”, so as far as I’m concerned it’s deleted.
im happy about this guess for no reason in particular
cant steal what physically dosent exist
Yeah I suppose you can’t, but I still don’t get why people are against the change. If Vetex could have the map in one piece he could, or at least, I’m sure he would. All 6 seas in one map, but due to Roblox limitations and people’s 10 year old computers he has to kinda just separate it. Otherwise this change would never really be necessary, and the arguments over the change would never happen.
You clearly got the wrong idea here.
I don’t think a single person here cares about the cargo storage system being used as a way to transfer loot between seas.
They want to use it normally with whatever restrictions would be naturally applied.
This opens up new opportunities like:
1: No more unnecessarily tedious cargo placement.
2: No more having literally all of your loot stolen on a whim by a group of players you can’t do anything about.
3: Probably more things that didn’t immediately come to mind
You can say PvP is part of the game as much as you like but you’d have to be an absolute complete and utter moron to think that getting 5v1’d after spending 3 hours in the dark sea and losing all of that is good.
Is that really the stance you want to take?
bruh the amount of toxic people ive meet while pvping, and i hunted people that were on the sea and is so easy to see the big boxes of cargo or the sealed chests, going out of ur way to sink people ship and make them waste their work is just pure toxicity
Exactly, just the existence of having storage would be beneficial. Like having a quarter master command to transfer all cargo/chests to storage, or empty storage onto the ship would be great. Vetex then making it so you lose all the storage when you sink defeats the point of the storage completely.
Also, what happens to storage if you die but you ship doesnt sink? What happens in your ship despawns? Does it get rid of it then? If so then there’s literally no point to even having the storage.
Vetex is the type of guy to see this gaining traction, and then not read it because he can’t be bothered to.
