guh i didn’t know this was democracy
i don’t see a reason to merge atk speed and agility, would lower build diversity a lot
some ppl were thinking of splitting atk speed into 2 different stats actually (starting and endlag and projectile speed) since it already does so much
we’ll see, i don’t think it’s getting added but if it does awesome for those that wanted it
weapon skills customization is def being added sooner or later so i’m pretty happy with that
nerfing the frozen modifier would be better for defense nerf on haste then
My suggestion
“Armour that was made fromt he golden alloys from Mount olympus, when you wear this armour to feel the observable universe rotate around you from time to time, may you become powerful”
How to obtain:
Kill Azathoth, Blind idiot God
1/500 GOD ARMOUR
1/500 GOD LEGGINGS
1/500 GOD VALKRIE
Must require a KEY to access the trial of the DEMON, must fight a mirrored boss Torren
Then talk to theos, use Seraphim magic and fly to the moon
Kill a legendary leviathan for it’s heart and open the hive gate to fight a Drowned God of the endless seas
in short, “lets make an armor harder to get than sunken but extremely meta with big advantage”
its actually easier to get than sunken
tats the fax
bro that’s even worse imagine every pvp player skidding around with literally god armor and then players who are mid at the game tryna get better have a huge disadvantage
good suggestion for endgame though
That is the point of customization, if you want to leave it default you can
imo we shouldnt have casting speed as a stat at all
just make magic speed affect projectile speed so we don’t have instant windups
Allow weapon skills to be moved from one weapon to another. You can head to a blacksmith where they will take the weapon skill and convert it into a Skill Scroll, which you can apply to any other weapon you have. However you wouldn’t be able to do things like Rising Tide on other weapons. @Jeffy @OnionCream
Customizing weapon stats is a bad idea due to weapon imbuement giving effects and stats on top of the effect and stats the weapon already has. This makes it difficult to balance/creates too many metas (think about Sparrow Thrust). The balance team could end up making a weapon bad for one class but good for another by accident because of how much they’ll have to patch up, same with magics being imbued into weapons.
oh brother not this argument again
first of all, pure speculation
second of all, warlock literally gets this
third of all, not adding objectively good ideas due to the balance issues it might cause is stupid
why’d u ping me for this
Purely speculative argument with 0 evidence. Easy ignore.
i feel like the difference is that fighting styles cannot be enchanted and dont get an innate buff after awakening like warriors do
the equivelant to skill customization for weapons is enchants, tempered is the same as lowering blast or shot size for damage, id argue adding ardent ontop of the size/power tradeoff makes it more customizable, and putting your skills on different types of weapons sould ideally be equivelant to using crash on say, iron leg vs thermofist (though currently weapon stats arent different enough from eachother)
i think ideally stripping skills could give a version of the skill with the affinities of the weapon you took it from, so kai sabres flying slash compared to a hypothetical future katana with more extreme stat affinities would allow for the right amount of fine tuning, but also be confusing and inventory cluttering
every build has a unique way of customizing their skills, magic has things like placed explosion, fighting styles have things like knockback and shockwave smash, and those finds fundamentally change the way a skill works, something weapons lack that should, ideally be compensated for by unique skills like power shot being able to be used the whole game instead of on marias pistols that could easily be outclassed later on in the game
this is a long winded reply so ill wrap it there, i could easily ramble about ideas of how artisan weapons could fix it but itd be useless, i know nothing about them just as much as anyone else does
Hear me out
a possible mage nerf:
every single mage spell (except leap probably) has a set cooldown time and they cannot be used in rapid fire one after the other.
atk speed DOES NOT lower this.
intensity rework
What if they added like an island called palo town and it was a cute coastal town that was owned by the navy and it had a mayor named mayor Tilly and they did executions there and there would be a new fighting style mentor who taught cannon fist
these are very late game ideas, they’d be more complicated and with different names, it sounds good for there to be difficult enemies, secret fights, hidden quests and all those things otherwise
