Suggest a new feature for the game that will instantly make you Public Enemy #1

The day/night cycle has the same scaling as irl for immersion purposes (60s:60m:24h) and saves when your character leaves (if it’s a foggy night, and you rejoin, you have a foggy night and must play 9 hours before its daytime)

you can no longer eat more than your hunger capacity.
by that i mean that the maximum value you can get is 100.
also you cant eat those giant meals if your hunger current+the amount they refill is greater than 100… same applies to everything else

If you try to eat a meal that goes beyond your max hunger you will straight up explode

nah, you just cant eat more, no explosions.
you just have to suffer and see how your hunger drains down with you having no ways to refill it until you do

Too bad hunger has been merged with energy

Removing T jump and revamping the entire combat system.

  1. i Don’t actually hate mages just joking ↩︎

Food items now rot after having it in your inventory for a week or so depending on what they are. Meals rot after 1 or 2 days and if you eat rotten food, you’ll get poisoned and a 50% chance of getting a random disease. You can still get diseases from eating fresh food but with a nuch much lower chance.

This is it. The worst addition. This actually gave me chills damn

You have not seen my abomination

Add a new meter to build in combat called Vulnerability. It’s a mechanic that applies to both players and NPCs, and is primarily built via getting hit while charging moves. Its scaling is based mostly on the targets level, compared to the level and armor piercing (which would be renamed to Breaking) of the attacker.

When the target’s Vulnerability reaches 100%, they will have it broken if hit by a fully charged attack, even if they block the hit. Parries will still save them. The effects of a broken Vulnerability depends on the type of attack to break it. See the list below

  • Cauterized. Applied by heat magics, this effect increases all incoming damage, the amount dependent on the amount of damage the target has recently taken, with more damage increasing the multiplier further. To a max of 20%.
  • Frostbitten. Applied by cold magics, prevents the target from dodging or blocking.
  • Maimed. Applied by weapons or solid magics, this inflicts a long-lasting bleed effect for a total of 10% of the target’s HP, along with removing their ability to use 2 moves. (Bosses have certain attacks immune to the latter effect)
  • Soul-Shattered. Applied by spirit weapons, this removes all customization of abilities, causing the target to use the default version. In addition, it removes their ability to use imbuements.

The effects of a Vulnerability Break lasts until the player gets back to full HP and has no status effects.

venerability

I blame my phone’s autocorrect.

At this point I think I’m just dumping my actual, genuine ideas into here. As I know they stand no chance of being added.

instant win ice is nice

I could actually see a version of this being implemented ingame.
