Vetex would likely have to revamp his custom unloader for that to occur, as of now it only loads the cities away from islands if you are not in them, everything else is still in full detail.
Let’s take a really useful QoL feature… like… maybe some kind of UI that lets players save armor loadouts so they don’t have to scavenge their inventory every time I want to change their current gear, and lock it behind a weirdly expensive gamepass for no reason besides greed (and potentially spite too)
i think the loadouts gamepass is a bit annoying to use anyway
To put your sails up or down, you now have to press R on each sail while you’re near them. Rigging is climbable to help with this but it’s 3 times as slow as climbing without gear. An anchor on Ketch+ ships has been added that takes 5 minutes to lower or raise can help you keep your ship still, since your ship starts moving slowly once the first sail goes down.
Legendary Crews (unimplemented except for Dev Team) let your ship retain the old sails system.
If it’s faster than the high latency version in-game, then sure.
Synergy-based damage buffs are replaced with generic Mini-Crits that do +5% more damage when an attack would normally be synergy-boosted. This also removes synergy-based statuses like Paralyzed and Frozen.
Random Crits are also added, which do +30% damage. Luck buffs increase the chance of Random Crits.

All Npcs can get killed including story npcs and once killed the player is effectively locked in the part of the game for eg accidentally killing estrid means you are locked at redwake.

If you don’t bathe after fighting and stay dirty, you have a chance to get an illness. It will secretly begin lowering your max health and stamina and will only notify you after its at 50% of its effectiveness. At that point, all you can do is wait for it to go away, or make a potion with different reagants found across the different islands.
Abilities now work on a dice system. Stat investments actually set the min/max the dice can roll towards, abilities can now be used regardless of your stat investment… however, they do have minimum value that you need to roll before the move is successful, with the tier of the spell lowering this requirement, adjusted alongside the rarity of the spell.
For example, lets say Pulsar would require a roll of 24, and max investment could roll between 17~52 for spells, with no investment only being able to roll between 1-20. A 350-stat-mage would pretty consistently roll a successful Pulsar cast, with higher values than the requirement making the spell even better. People without magic investment would technically be able to use the spell, but their lack of magic investment makes it guaranteed to misfire, having harsher negative effects as it continues to get lower than the required amount.
