You can choose to slaughter hundreds of NPCs, but if you kill 100 with the same last name in a span of 2 weeks, you will no longer be able to encounter that last name normally, including:
Towns
Crews
Criminals or heroes below twice your level
Ship captains below twice your level
However, if you do encounter NPCs twice as strong as you, you can bet your ass they were training for it. They wonโt ever unaggro, are immortal to all sources of damage except you and every time you join a new server they will spawn on the same island or area of sea. And they will aim to kill you specifically.
Oh and every 18 ingame years, counting even when offline, a new such dude will spawn. They will always spawn together after that.
If you do manage to kill them they have 0.01% chance to actually die and 99.99% chance to double their level.
If by miracle you manage to kill all of them so that you have no living nemesis left, congrats, 2 will spawn every 18 ingame years now.
- Players with a bounty are now considered โnaughty,โ and will recieve coal instead of seasonals for the Yuletide event.

I was sailing in the Dark Sea, and, as one does, I got hit with Water Poisoning while receiving insanity โdamageโ and it got me thinkingโฆ
What if insanityโs โdamageโ instead appeared to apply water poisoning to the player? With no cooldown unlike real water poisoning.
That makes me wonder what if you have insanity outside of the dark sea your surroundings start to look like the dark sea (fog and rain and other stuffs)
