The Adventure of Bob Auburn (Part Two and a half)

And so we continue this man’s adventure. This time, we will follow around an hour after his last event.

Due to his recent troubles with a bandit, Bob Auburn was immediately swarmed by weak civilians. Despite the bandit generally asking for them to leave him alone, the mass shouting blocked out his voice. Bob Auburn would then suddenly be tapped on the shoulder, as a large shadow cast over him.

The entire crowd would stop, backing away. Bob Auburn looked behind himself as a man wearing a worn armour loomed above him. As the man tapped his foot, the cobbles would start to slightly crack. Bob Auburn started to sweat, as he started to generate a large amount of heat.

Quickly, a man in a top hat came running behind the large figure. After a few seconds, he quickly changed direction and went in front of the man. The mans suit was a very formal one, although his tie was slightly damaged and unorganized. As his hand reached out towards Bob Auburn, the large amount of heat quickly depleted. The man offered Bob Auburn a deal. The man requested for Bob Auburn to fight his guard in exchange for a (what was) large amount of galleons and a BOAT YOU DON’T NEED TO ROW?! Bob Auburn quickly took up the offer, without any further details.

After a few minutes, the fancy-dressed man led him to a building where he was pushed into an arena. One of the guards entered the arena, throwing away their armour and weapons. Bob Auburn quickly looked around before the guard smirked before saying ‘’Now, let’s see how you do without magic.’’ Bob Auburn looked up at the man as he slowly approached, before having two gloves thrown at him. The guard would then attempt to do a friendly smile, saying to put the gloves on. The guard would then put on gloves, entering an offensive stance. The fancy-suited man would then shout with some kind of futuristic technology to make himself louder, counting to 1 before shouting ‘’GO!’’

Quickly, the guard did a large dash and punched Bob Auburn. Bob Auburn was knocked away, sliding on the ground with one foot as he tried to balance himself. After regaining balance, the guard attempted to punch Bob Auburn again. Bob Auburn quickly jumped up, smashing the guard’s jaw with a devastating punch. The guard stepped back, quickly shaking his head. He looked at Bob Auburn in shock. The guard was seemingly angered as he did a massive punch, using the force to launch himself at Bob Auburn. The guard seemed to be…drunk?

Bob Auburn attempted to ignore this, though it was too late. The guard hit Bob Auburn, sending him to the floor. The guard quickly got up, staring down at Bob Auburn. Bob Auburn however would not give up. Bob Auburn got up, before the guard mercilessly punched him to the ground. Bob Auburn attempted to get up with an upwards punch, though he was thrown away onto the ground.

Bob Auburn was getting extremely angry, as heat built up around him. Bob Auburn then charged up a punch as the Boxing Glove would… SET ON FIRE?! Bob Auburn then leaped at the guard, punching him to the ground. The guard would then get up, running at Bob Auburn. They attempted to do a large punch again, though Bob Auburn dodged. Bob Auburn would then run at the end of the stage as the guard chased him, before attempting to punch Bob Auburn. Quite obviously, the guard would fall.

The guard would then stare at Bob Auburn as they started to produce massive amounts of magic. All sources of light become dimmer. Spikes would start to poke out of random places. All of a sudden, a magic circle formed directly below Bob Auburn before a gunshot rang out. The sources of light became normal as the spikes quickly retracted. The magic circle would then fade away, producing small amounts of floating shadow magic before they dispersed. Bob Auburn would then look at the guard, as a pool of blood formed below his head. Bob Auburn would then quickly turn, covering his mouth. He made a few cough-like movements before he let go of his mouth, throwing up on the arena.

After a few minutes, a few guards came up onto the arena and picked up the Guard’s equipment, placing it in a crate and walking to Bob Auburn. They apologised for the previous guard’s actions, handing him the crate. The fancy suited man then came running up to Bob Auburn, saying that he will give him something ‘’special’’ as even further compensation. He then handed Bob Auburn a bag full of…conductive metals? Bob Auburn was confused but he accepted the offer.

After around half an hour, Bob Auburn finally arrived at his boat. With all of his manpower, Bob Auburn dumped the heavy crate with the guard’s equipment and a large bag full of galleons. Bob Auburn then reached into his pocket, grabbing a small bag. He placed it next to the seat as tiny bits of plasma magic seeped out the top. Bob Auburn then sat down, pulling down the sails as he lied down, encaptured by the relaxation of sailing the sea without the burden of rowing.
