The Borealis was not the beginning of the OSP, but it marked the OSP’s transition into what it was by the time of AA, which was the Pirate Faction based in Alalea that wouldn’t use it’s strongest generals, and would send out several fleets with upcoming powerful Generals to harass and clash with AG fleets.
Warren is THE weakest GFC user, and thats concerning seeing that the Inferno is supposed to be the second strongest Curse. The Inferno Curse is actually unironically being nerfed for Vetex to have a plot, which is seen by literally every other feat done by people with GFCS.

First of all, chaos is attracted to MALICE not strength. Rupin didn’t need to be strong to attract chaos. All he needed to do was be annoying and kill people, the only reason Chaos even cursed the old sea was because he killed people AFTER the One shot pirates had LEFT THE OLD SEA YOU FOOL
Clearly you must be blind because the date of the borealis raid comes BEFORE rupin’s destruction of the old sea. Meaning that the OSP had already LEFT the old sea BEFORE rupin started his massacre. Meaning he NEVER MET THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE

Malice wont bring chaos. You need to be malicious WHILST committing atrocities. Rupin clearly slaughtered enough people with evil intent for Chaos to emerge, and we know Rupin likely killed in the hundreds during his time in the Seven Seas due to his bounty. Which means, yes, Rupin needed to have done a MAJOR atrocity whilst being malicious for enough Chaos to form to make the entire sea UNINHABITABLE. (unless ur some viking people, ig?)
No, this is just a result of the formation of the AG not making sense. In AA, the Borealis would have been made in a non existent time during the Seven Seas. We KNOW it was made in the Seven Seas, since at the time of AA, the Old Sea was not a major concept, neither was a migration to the Seven Seas even in the lore doc yet.
This is like Morock’s battle at the Bermuda Archipeligo not making sense chronologically, since he fought the AG 100 years before AA, but The Seven Seas is supposedly only 50 years old. So no, I wouldn’t count this as a canon thing, Vetex just needs to fix his lore doc since his new lore doc changes actually destroyed 90% of AA’s lore lol. (Alalea was supposedly ALSO made a century before AA, so erm…)
Not reconned yet, but would be nice if OF also got a lore rewrite since its technically canon, just not reasonable considering the new lore doc changes.

Let me ask you this: Do YOU really expect the character built up to literally be the “STRONGEST” and “MOST POWERFUL” in this cluster to be defeated so easily by his rival? If he was so weak in the first place that a clash advantage would matter. Then he would never be called THE CONQUEROR in the first place

Yes, Rupin did slaughter many people. But how many of them were actually powerful? I’m not talking like Admiral level powerful, we all know Rupin easily beats Admirals. But did he ever actually fight or kill someone on the level of a curse user in his own sea? Did he ever fight and subdue a Fleet Commander like Arsen?

The feat of mass murder is not his primary feat. It’s that in a Sea Cluster with VALENCIA and a supposedly RIGHTEOUS Proto-AG, he was UNTOUCHED (and might’ve teamed up with Trigno?)
If we’re being real here, Rupin probably fucking committed murder of like 25-50% of the cluster population, since every sea cluster seems to have a population under like 100-200k and most populations live in like 1 area. The Old Sea probably would have had around 50k or so, which I would say means he killed like 15k-20k Civillians to amass Chaos, whilst also not being confronted by Valencia. So Valencia is either a fraud, or probably a psychopath.
We need OF and AA lore confirmations, since realistically he would’ve, but nobody can say for sure.
Fair, I do wish we could’ve just kept the old AA lore whilst having WoM be the finisher of the trilogy, since it makes no sense for the AU trilogy which starts in the same area, to end like 2 months after the peak of the series, in a completely unrelated region on the other side of Earth.

The war seas have way more established kingdoms and factions with their own navy and army, there seem to be way more curses in the war seas AND the grand navy is stronger than the arcane government
Vetex also said the war seas will have some people on the level of Theos and durza who were both top tiers in the seven seas
