Decrease the damage of dragonfire carronades. Most other dark sea ship parts are sort of balanced, with them mostly just mixing together the stats of other items to make something strong. The archaic mortar is powerful but has a big downside, dragonfire carronades are just death to anyone close to you

you lose heat over the fight instead of gaining? isnât the whole point of thermo fist to gain it as you fight instead of depleting it like sailor? thats why i always used to think it was unfair to start a 1v1 with full thermo as youâre starting with a maxed resource that 's meant to build up over the fight. Now thermo fist feels like youâre trying to minimize your heat bar being lost instead of building it up, because its just not possible to build it up. This is also an intensity build?? who thought of these thermo balancing, because if they ever tested these changes they would realise just how awful it is

warlock has the issue of shot and beam being functionally the same, not much of a problem in the future i guess. smash and explosion have slight differences that make them different enough at least.
If m1s are meant to barely be used then why is that the main focus of cannon fist. situational m1s outside of pvp, terrible in every other aspect, i think everything except for m1s should be reworked but thats not something an ao balancer can really demand

Regardless all fstyles were gutted even if thermo wasnât nerfed it would have definitely fallen out of the meta on its own because of the cone detection bs

cuz thermo has been good since the beginning. It can be useless for 1 meta.
Thatâs not a good balancing mindset, the goal should be to bring something to a balanced level rather than intentionally leave it underpowered just because it was overtuned before
