Thought, if you were an AO balancer, what would you balance out and how would it be balanced?

o hell na you need to stay stopped to use that, just beam the person surging in 1 second and you do more dmg than it, surge is only good in farming g, no need for that big of a nerf

I would balance out glass, acid, metal and Magma for mages.
Right now, Im a glass mage, I have been one for literally the hole game, and when I fight any magic user, I know I have to play way better than them, glass loses every clash, does poor damage and the bleeding is weak…
My suggestion for glass: Aply bleeding stacks, meaning if the person is bleeding and you attack him again you should give him Bleeding 2.
Acid: I belive no one wants a poison 2.0 in every conjurer, but can we make it a bit more reliable? literally does not work in water fights…
Metal: Metal is honestly, the best magic in the game atm, mainly with high power builds, since its possible to get 160+ power whiout any drawbacks with the new Powerfull, + the Malachite Gem, we really need to talk about how its not fine to be able to do 900 damage in a single blast with 150+ attacksize, yeah we get it, heavy damage, but 900 damage bro? what the f…
Magma: why magma does not work UNDERWATER, this makes no sense, like, most of the Vulcanos are underwater and they spit their magma to the surface trough the water, its ok if it does not burn in water, but it should become a stone and keep going, not stop…

I think Berserker should be high damage but low range class(or low speed, but I think both of these are low now :joy: ) which means make people feel: “Oh if I get that skill hit I will be fxxk up, but luckily I can easily escape from that attack.”

However, the fighting style doesn’t make the berserker feel how “dangerous” is it and yes it should be low range, but danger? Even if you boost your power up so much it doesn’t change that you can be higher than other classes, also fighting style is a problem, even berserkers have 2 fighting styles but they only use one style when they fight or just change the other style when the first style skills is in cd, even magic can have different types can let people get different effects which can get some debuff on them. Also fighting style with magic can combine them together making the fighting style more dangerous.

The funny thing is that 1 fighting style with other styles such as weapons, and mage is more dangerous than 2 fighting styles, and the balance team thinks that the combo is a little strong so they nerf them including fighting style :clown_face:.

berserker only gives bleeding debuff and burning (if thermo fist overheats), and no other debuff such as letting people slow, or freeze that makes the skill easy to aim or let people take more damage.

So I think berserker need to buff their CLASS damage and not focus on the fighting style because weapons and mages can still use fighting styles that will be hard to balance. If the Blance team can’t combine 2 fighting style combos or give them other debuffs when different fighting styles are hit by the same person in a short time, I think the Class damage buff will be easier to make the awaken berserker easier to live in this world.

see this is why we need like, a set of classless tools to make up for the PVE weaknesses of certain classes. I’d love to buy a jellyfish obliterator or a portable harpoon or anything

thermo was decent since the beggingin yeah, but it was only meta once, Warrior has been above average (or even way above average) since release and even know it didn’t get gutted, nerfed sure, but not gutted

??? warrior has been average. It was only good back in release meta, and after the vindicator buff. It wasn’t even THAT GOOD on release, when berserker and mage were running around. Meanwhile, Thermo has been above average or broken ever since the first update. You’re blinded by your bias for thermo, you can live for 1 patch without spaming 300 damage shots every 2 seconds

fun fact, I never used thermo for the last 3 patches you absolute moron, warrior is decent rn, was very good last patch, was good the patch before, was meta the patch before that and was second best on release

warrior has had a way better overall place than thermo, you’re just biased because you wish you could still do 220 dmg p gale with 2k hp

delete every class and weapon except normal flintlock, give it reload time of 30 seconds and 1 damage, and take away its skills
no more PVP or PVE, its just charts (a certain someone would be happy) and ship fights (havent seen one yet)

You could say that for any class? The “just hold G” argument is dumb, since anything can be resumed to that, it’s factual that their was a super oppressive warrior meta, and that warriro has always been at least good.

Must I remind you that you litteraly said not so long ago that kai sabre and scimitars of storms tp needed a BUFF? It was before the warrior nerfs that came recently too, you’re clearly ignorant so your opinion has no value.

I just wanna say it out there even though it doesn’t relate!!

Holding G itself has many flaws as well for this version, literally because you’d need to run a golden apple build for it so it’d can be at its best:

  1. You’re completely immobile, from mages, berserkers, to etc they can still shred your health even when you’re trying to hold block. This stuff occurs with like surge-usage people, warrior spam, berserker spamming crush downs, etc and you’d only block 50% of the approx damage, you’d drain.

  2. Your movement is completely disabled, you’re prone to gels, grabs, etc and if you were to let go you’d be eating up more damage until the large combo is over. People say “Hold g” but if they realistically held g infront lets say a pulsar user from 1.1v, it isn’t just holding g, you have to a PVP sweat demon to even fight a mage or todays mage with it’s surge.

  3. Synergizing, effects, ETC. Even if you “hold g” against per say a light user, you’d be completely blind even when you’re blocking, this includes other things like ash, posion, acid, etc which do AoE/DoT which is dangerous for people who “hold g” so it wouldn’t do ANYTHING.

my point was holding g beats warrior because of how telegraphed crushing judgement is. You can just hold a and take half of the damage easily. It’s not even a bit, it’s true. Also I retracted my statement on scimtars/kai sabre, my build was just dogshit
