the problem has been stated before, sunkens currently are meta and the change is meant to make them one set out of many that would be potential meta so that there’s more variety

making sunkens more defense heavy gives them a different niche compared to something like cernyx, that being that you’d use it if you wanted to be tankier as opposed to having more substats

exactly the right mindset, for most people this is as simple as replacing one enchant with another

they did massively nerf it for magic already but they just had to put in the other nerfs as well

Right, but it also puts it into perspective how much the change matters. Like someone else said, what does it matter? At the same time, why does it matter if it’s changed? It’s an armor stat change, but I can see the perspective some people have on it.

Personally, I think that this is to help with substat inflation- the only people this would negatively affect are the people that have maxed sunken with maxed brisk/explosive enchants (based on what substat they’re stacking)

Let’s be honest, at best they’re losing less than 10% of their high investment substat. I also don’t think they are the target anyways.

If all I need to do is swap some enchants i dont really see why the change if its that simple to work around
 dark sea is a real hassle to grind.

Substat inflation? I guess, but size is only really good on good base size stuff. On things like lightning it does next to nothing
