My issue with those numbers is that to me, at least from what I’ve seen, scaling typically is per 10 levels right? So 0.5 per 10 levels is strong, and at level 120 it gives 6 power; powerful is 2x this at 1.0 for 12 power. So from my perspective, this looks like 0.6 scaling on Vatrachos, and 0.6 x 12 = 7.2

I got ticked off about this in the balance discord, and brought it up. I still don’t know what 0.6 scaling is necessarily, apparently it’s the same as powerful (changes make Vatrachos give 36 apparently, and Powerful gives 12?). So what is it? Is the scaling (to the public) going to be 3 power per 10 levels, or is it going to be 0.6 power scaling (whatever this means).

Wasn’t due to backlash, we just need to think of a better solution, since this is something we’re going to be dealing with until endgame. Will probably be for next patch.

Pretty much just means that the Vatachros chest equals 3 Powerful enchants in scaling. That’s the easiest way to think about it. 36 Power at 125 (or 120, I guess).

One solution I can think of is for every 1 warding or greater than insanity from Atlantean results in the Atlantean essence giving less stats. Pretty much the warding is suppressing the Atlantean essence, and making it less efficient. It could be based on a ratio of warding to insanity, so 4/5 would be 75% efficient, 3/4 would be 75% as well, 2/3 would be 66%, and 1/2 would be 50%. No warding you can just run 3 at 100% efficiency and use those freed up Virtuous slots for something else.

damn. i guess i’ll put some virtuous on my calvus or vatrachos pieces and see if i’ve got some essences, then
could use the defense anyway, i just don’t really know what to do with my older builds at this point (i might just let myself fall behind in stats and force myself to get better, haven’t made ANY effort to catch up on my conj, mage, and zerker yet)

So by this needlessly unintuitive scale, powerful would be 0.2 then?

It does work… but only at the range grabs like the heavy weapons have.

Speaking of Axes, When will basic and boxing get bleeding on axe-slash?

Hey uh is the m1 halting passive energy recharge thing intended? Usually when I got low on energy the only thing I can do is cycle between shift-charging and shockwave smash just to maintain my heat bar and it’s really clunky. Thermo fist downtime sucks alot so maybe passive energy regen while m1ing or a slight buff to shift-charging at high heat really helps with maintaining momentum.

guys do any of your grabs work on npcs? everytime i grab an npc it just does the first hit and go into cooldown

IT DOES THAT FOR ME TOO
it’s inconsistent as hell

here’s how i’d rank grabs

1: snare (sometimes doesn’t detect but when it does it just catches people so easily, the best grab belongs to the ranged class LMAO)
2: any weapons (sometimes hits and immediately goes into cooldown, sometimes does the full grab
3: rushdown (you could be right next to an NPC, press your rushdown key while having your cursor on then, and you’d just do that soulless, slow, PUSSY ASS floating thing as if the npc just didn’t exist)

This is definitely a bug. Also, is Selino supposed to be a grab? It does the same thing as rushdown for me which is why I’m asking
