Hello. I want to say that Vetex is kidding us, because:
Vetex removed banks.
He lied to us that he won’t reset levels.
He once said that release will be in early 2021, but now he says late 2021.
In Trello written that will be Open Test, but also he said that it won’t be cause we are impatient blah blah blah
He removed flight spells and saying that “Due to having boats, when people will reach enough level and get flight spells they won’t have reason to use boats”, even if it’s not true.
look bud, sometimes when you’re making a game, plans change. Change is a part of life, the fact that Vetex’s plans for AO shifted from what he thought they were gonna be doesn’t mean he’s lying.
Honestly? I’m pretty upset about that one too, but hey, I’m not the dev. So what can I do about it? Nothing, and neither can you.
You still keep your items, and you get to fully experience the story from a fresh start. I don’t know why people are against this.
The open test at the end of the trello is more like a day of early access before the game releases. It’s probably so that Vetex can get more bug reports and feedback from more people than just with his testers.
You’re complaining about flight spells being removed, but you didn’t explain why. Flight spells were removed because they made boats (an integral part of the game) obsolete.
Indeed? Perhaps that is because he has added more than 100 items to the trello since the development of AO began. Adding extra features takes time. The game will come out eventually. Just be patient.
Shit happens mate, plans change as time goes on, especially during the complicated mess that is game development.
Also to my knowledge, at no point in time has Vetex ever outright promised anything concrete in relation to AO’s development. So it can hardly be said that he’s outrighted lied to the community or said anything in bad faith.
I get that it sucks, but that’s unfortunately how it is.

And, Tbh that’s cool IMO. Starting out in a new world with a new character actually sounds pretty nice. Jst my opinion though. Sorry you lost your Max level Poison build but TBH it’s fine. Just try to get adjusted. Also he doesn’t have to keep everything the same through making AO. That makes it boring.
And it’s coming later. Cry. that means we’re getting a better game that’s more developed thans when we first heard about it.

Unrelated note but I just led the minotaur into the town, he broke a window and 30 magic council soldiers appeared and annihilated him. There were a million projectiles flying at him a second.
if you read the reason on trello, you would understand why. Clan banks will still exist too, so there’s no reason to have 2 bank systems
It wasn’t a lie, at the time I had no plans to reset levels. Plans change as games develop, that doesn’t mean you were lied to. The reasoning behind resetting levels is good, so why complain about it?
You sound like a little kid with this one dude. Do you think I was able to see into the future and give an accurate release date before the revamp was even started? There has been no formal announcement of a release date for that exact reason - because no one knows. All I have said about the release times are just estimates, and it could even change again.
There will still be an open test for AO, but not until its fully completed, because yes, the roblox community is impatient nowadays and doesn’t understand that games can be updated and have content added beyond what is currently in the game.
…except it is true. If you could fly, why would you bother spawning a boat and sailing if its way more dangerous and not as fast? It’s way better for the game overall to force people to use boats. Use your brain
