VITALITY REWORK (all info)

Yeah but I don’t like the idea of being strategic or else you literally deal more damage to yourself than you gain HP.

If Vitality had a separate HP pool and using attacks only drained HP from that specific pool (which I have suggested before, not gonna happen) then I’d be more ok with it. But even then it still presents similar issues.

In my opinion revamp is cool. Its hard to believe that some people still want to leave vitality route unchanged. Since it is both meta and shit depending on your loadout, which would cause huge balancing issues and in the result: Tons of useless lines of code for Vetex to make.

There is only one problem about this revamp - Vampirism (future fstyle), its uniqueness being sacrificed and now I wonder if its will be scrapped entirely or not.

I actually don’t get it. WHY do people keep saying that spirit weapons without hp are just weapons 2?? They’re not close at all, at least not right now. We literally have ONE move for ONE spirit weapon and it’s closer to magic than it is weapons, so why do people keep saying this? :sob:

Copium due to the fact that they can’t have Panzerkampfwagen VIII Maus type builds anymore

people acting like having 6k hp builds with 250 damage attacks is fair or balanced for anyone, not just pvp, how do you think the npcs feel when you’ve literally acquired a sliver of Zeus’s power and you heal faster than the can slash you with a cutlass. You’re not a chop chop curse user for god’s sake, be normal.

the worst part about vitality mains is they’re just mad OBNOXIOUS about it for NO reason. Just because your build wasn’t added on EARLY ACSESS release does not make you better than literally anyone else. High Hp builds with no drawbacks are stupid.

thanks for reading allat

bre im telling yall vote on this it’ll make vitality be able to use unique stuff as “weapons” so they’re not just weapons #2

@archrono take a look at this suggestion lmk what u think. ^

i alr voted for it

Wasn’t that like already the plan?

sort of but this suggestion is more detailed vetex hasnt been very descriptive atleast to my knowledge

I mean the spirit weapons already aren’t conventional weapons nor, from what little we’ve seen so far, do they function like them. The suggestion does give some cool ideas for what spirit weapons could look like and that in it of itself is worth voting for, but I don’t think spirit weapons have ever been in danger of being weapons 2.0.

imma be honest I’m mostly just click baiting i really want to see vitality get to use a fishing rod as a weapon it would be peak.

I voted on that already

Also that’s just ideas for spirit weapon models, that doesn’t necessarily make them not weapons 2 (even though spirit weapons already aren’t)

Ye again im just being clickbaity

Eagle patrimony was a really good start, but when the next confirmed spirit weapon is a staff (from the trello iirc) and an orb, i was afraid that vetex was considering just the traditional choices for magic weapons

I dont think it will be weapons #2 butto set it apart, i think part of the spirit notes should be editable. Like the size of the spirit blast for example (like a mage’s blast is)

Either way, as ironically as it may sound, i’m having a blast with spirit weapon so far

On that note, please suggest some other models. I made that post more as a hub of ideas for spirit weapons than a suggestion of my own.

I still think the model will end up being a crucial part of how they play tho

Yeah sure, all my point was is that the spirit weapons were never gonna be just weapons 2. I do imagine that the further we get the fancier the spirit weapons the minibosses will have as the scale of power increases as we progress.

I think that would just be the case for the first obtainable Spirit Weaps, but remember that theres actually only ONE TYPE of Spirit Weap in lore, meaning that once we get a certain type (a staff, a crystal orb), we probably wont be getting another from another boss ever again.

Wym? Doesn’t that just mean that in lore there is only one of each spirit weapon? Like, there can be two staffs, as long as they arent the same staff blessed by the same god
