V1 gonna kill everybody
you’re only saying this because I say otherwise
yep
okay well then I inflate you and you explode gg
Im gonna kill you slowly
silence balloon boy
I would like to mention that if you attempt to use gameplay features in PM games to powerscale, things get very broken very quickly.
There are several attacks that instantly kill and have no counter
Vergilius cannot die
Kali/Gebura can move infinitely fast
Argalia is completely immune to all ranged attacks
Whatever broken move v1 can pull off isn’t going to do anything against that
read the prime terminals
v1 when knuckleboom
Unfortunately that still doesn’t counter “cannot die”
Either we stop using every aspect of gameplay for powerscaling, or we become insufferable
yea gameplay arguments aren’t really fun honestly
just a matter of “who has the more crazy game mechanic” rather than the characters themselves
the thing is project moon gameplay vs actual events happening is pretty different, ruina’s card game and limbus’ drag skills to each other isn’t what’s actually happening in the fights. obviously roland isn’t gonna look at his hand of cards for 5 minutes to see if he has a high enough roll to beat boundary of death or something (lobcorp is exempt from this, since you are seeing what the manager sees)
meanwhile all the batshit insane tech you can pull off is what V1 actually does (prime sanctum terminals), the terminals like V1 so much because all the combos are entertaining to watch. the entire arsenal of weapons v1 buys are from the stylish recordings he pulls off, since he earned a shitton of points
That is, the machines record their battles for survival in Hell and the footage is graded based on its entertainment value and used as “points” in exchange for goods and services such as new weaponry.
It seems that this relationship has become so deeply ingrained into the existence of the terminals that they have developed a social hierarchy, wherein those who collect the most entertaining battle data are considered in higher regard than those whose findings are of poorer quality.
More recently, the terminals have also collected enough data to create a simulation space which they let machines plug into called “The Cyber Grind”, which allows the machines to simulate battles in a safe environment without the threat of being destroyed, which the terminals watch in real time as a kind of live entertainment.
there is a line between gameplay and story integration, but ultrakill has the thinnest fucking line to exist there
but also v1 can throw 3 quarters, punch it while shooting them, and stack 500 damage onto a claw
ok
V1 still loses to gebura lol
gebura when v1 parries great split: vertical
don’t care didn’t ask
the only attacks v1 can’t parry are argalia’s, the index’s and maybe wcorp cleanup crew because they’re all blue
gebura isn’t blue
are you seriously trying to tell me that V1 can’t parry any attack that is visibly blue
you realize that makes my job so much easier right
behold: you fell for the bait
“don’t care didn’t ask”
proceeds to care
checkmate liberal
My rage is currently insurmountable
this is why I hate V1 and all their glazers
nothing but a stupid, worthless piece of metal entirely carried by nonsensical arguments and fallacious reasoning
