Writer's Notes
welcome back to ‘what the fuck is bnt writing: the series’ again
and yes I took some extreme creative liberty to well, write wom canon character’s connections (like aurielle and exiled, and some other combinations)
look bro we only got a few preset named npcs and I would kill to make them more involved with the plot
oh yea i added some storyteller bits at the end, since they kinda have their own life too

How’s it going, readers?
We’re heading to another story point!
After the event in Bronze Grassland has come to an end, a new story sparks!
We might as well start this chapter continuing from the last one’s cliffhanger, shall we?
This was the worst time to encounter King David Silver considering the Exiled’s status as well, an exile.
King David, who was just as surprised at this encounter, shifted his expression into a stern one. “Have you seen Aurielle Salore anywhere?”
“No, I haven’t. I’ve been looking for her too…”
“I see…” The king contemplated this whole situation, while the Exiled stood there, thinking about what to do next.
The silence took over, before it’s cut by a certain lady who’s heading towards the room — Aurielle Salore. “I’m bac- Oh hi there you two! And uh…”
As she looked at the two, she knew she had to explain the whole situation for The Exiled. “Well, I brought you here from the forest yesterday, sent your armor and shield for some repairs, and I have something to ask from King David too.”
After explaining this to the Exiled, she turned to the king. “Wait, is he allowed to be here? I didn’t tell you this was the friend I mentioned earlier.”
“Actually no, but…” King David sighed as he looked at Aurielle, before glancing at the Exiled. “I’ll make an exception.”
“Thanks!” Aurielle replied with a smile. “Now… Should we continue the discussion in this room or at the keep?”
“I would prefer the keep.”
After this brief talk, the three would head towards the keep with a few looks from the townspeople of Summer Hold, and went up to the second floor. Aurielle then initiated the talk with the king. “Now that we’re here… Would you happen to know if there’s any suspicious sighting around here?”
“There’s one recently. I’ve sent some soldiers to investigate the sudden surge of pirate attacks on the shore. From what I’ve gathered, the ships either hailed from the Marshlands or the East Peninsula. You two and your students can split up to help investigate both sides, the soldiers had already dealt with the damage taken here.”
“Alright- Wait, when did you figure out I’m looking for quests for my students?”
King David sighed again, but with familiarity. “You’ve been doing this for a few years now, Aurielle.”
“Ah, my bad,” Aurielle chuckled, leaving the Exiled wondering about Aurielle and the king. Sure, she had connections with people, but he didn’t expect her to be this casual towards the king.
Later in the discussion, King David would hand both Aurielle and the Exiled the route map towards the camps on the locations he mentioned earlier. With the next quest settled, both would bid a farewell to the king, before heading to the room Exiled woke up. Their remaining schedule for today was pretty much grabbing some food, picking up the armor, and visiting Aurielle’s students afterward.
The Exiled wasn’t too sure about how he’s allowed to wander in this Summer Hold, considering how he got exiled from Umber Keep — the town ruled by the king of King David, The High King Rook himself. And as he wondered about her relationship with the king, he asked her, only to receive a vague answer of them knowing each other since Aurielle was a kid.
But as Aurielle brought that topic up, she was reminded of a person she knew during that time too. It was a brown-haired boy with a name started with the letter D, whose glare looked pretty scary for a 10-year-old Aurielle back then.
As Aurielle continued to think about this person, something clicked. The boy she met during her childhood back then and the wanted Dark Arts Society guild leader could possibly the same person — Dacien Stratus.

Five minutes in unlocking her second magic, and Jean had already sent out a few ice blasts at Kat, only for them to be ended by Kat’s counter blasts.
The ice blast was still too brittle in Kat’s eyes. But considering how Jean just unlocked her second magic, Kat might as well end this fight as quickly as possible, starting from the weakened and damaged one — Rael.
As Kat headed towards Rael, he had already started dashing towards Kat, and cutting her with his wood beams. Kat used her magma blast to counter Rael’s attacks as both got almost too close, swung her punch towards Rael’s lower back, and let him fall to the ground after this vital attack.
“Uck!-”
With Rael’s fall, Kat’s smug expression shifted into a cold one, as her shoulders dropped.
“Well, you still like to continue this?” She asked with her lower voice and turned to Jean, who’s already charging her light magic circle. “I can spare both of you this time, considering how I took one down right here.”
Without any hesitation, Jean replied, “I-”
“Both of you had already wasted enough of my time here, and I only came here to check on the guild members. We’re all on a journey, and I’m sure I’d have a chance to kill you guys properly sooner or later.”
Jean glanced at the knocked-down Rael, and thought about what Kat just brought up. Although something else urged her to continue this fight.
“Look, consider this quest failed and go heal yourselves or whatever. You didn’t plan to clear this entire grassland alone, right? You’re still in a frail state here, Arbor.”
As Kat asked her final question, Jean stood there, clenching her fists as her charging magic circles died down. And it only took a while for her to finally answer. “Fine.”
“That’s all I needed to hear. See you.” Kat bid a farewell with a smile as she walked away, and disappeared from the Bronze Grassland with a magma explosion.
Jean sighed with this sudden end, as she turned to Rael, who’s still lying on the ground. “Get up, I can’t carry you home.”
Rael struggled to get up for a little, as he held Jean off from trying to support him, before he finally got on his feet. “Wait, home?”
“Yeah, my cousin got a house over there. Miss Aurielle would know where to find me.” Jean gestured towards the south, where Bell Village was set. Both then gather their bags and whatever they got from the bandits, then headed there while shooing off some stray bandits along the way — with magic, of course.
As both arrived at the village at noon, Jean led Rael towards a small building past the village’s iconic bell tower, not stopping to greet anyone else. After entering the house, she told Rael where he can get items to patch himself up inside the living room and the bathroom location, then left to her own bedroom.
Rael decided to clean and change the clothes in the bathroom first. The room was pretty small, but enough for Rael to place his bag and some bandages down somewhere.
As he removed his shirt, he noticed the bloodied bandage on his stomach from the time he fought with the Minotaur, only for it to be worsened by the fight with Kat. He then washed the blood on his body, replaced the bandages, and patch up some damages on his body — whether it’s cut damage, burn damage, magic damage, or anything else he didn’t realize at first.
After cleaning himself up and changing into a clean shirt, he looked around inside the living room alone.
Seats of wood, shelves of items, pots of flowers — then the dining table of two on the other side with a few dishes on one side. Further away, there were a stove, some barrels, and a shelf with some cooking equipment and ingredients.
The house location was a tad bit familiar to Rael, but it only remained as a tiny thought. Maybe Rael had already met Jean’s cousin at one point.
Would Aurielle know where to find them? Maybe, or maybe not. But right now, he’s not working on a quest, and he had the time to at least do something while they’re inside the village.
- Cook some lunch for both himself and Jean
- Write a letter to his hometown
- Sleep in the living room
- Go outside to find Aurielle
- Go outside to explore Bell Village

This one’s for Jamil, the next storyteller of this chapter:
I’m going to kill you if you dare open the gift box before me. I’ve prepared something for the reader, and you had the audacity to steal it for your so-called ‘entertainment’. You and your riddler ass won’t get away this time.
