Yeah no, in AA (even tho i was stuck in the 1st sea) i remember that mutations REPLACED your magic. So you mutated 1st and 2nd minds.
In AO, we switch magics with mutations of ONLY FIRST MAGIC

I have made a fan-chart, and relied purely on base 7 magics and themes of magics. Its not 100% and just my view on things, but yeah, Acid, Glass, sand…Nu huh

Please tell me where you got Aethereal flames or growth magic confirmed as magics like ???

Magics? Some are from 51 magic list, some are confirmed.

Mutation paths? Some are from old AA mutation charts, other are pure logic. Like Explosino → Aether and Snow → Blizzard


I hope this update releases all the weapon skills
If the game isn’t early access it shouldn’t have unfinished features

Randal having Growth absolutely does not confirm for it to be a magic at all dawg :sob:

99% sure his curse is an external curse

And even then if it was why would it be “growth” and not something more in line and specified for plants and nature

And even then most of the magics we even know about for the list aren’t accurate to the total list, which has been said to be at least doubled the previous one iirc (or at least somewhere closer to 40).

Can we stop complaining about a system that is not yet finished nor even in the game yet?

we still have zero conformation of it actually going to be a lost or ancient magic

I mean all elemental magics have magic counterparts, so I’d be really surprised if it wasn’t a lost or ancient magic. Seems like a really obvious mutation for wood that wood magic users would be kinda chumped if they didn’t get. I guess Vetex doesn’t have to put all the magics in the game, but this feels like a pretty obvious and easy pick that would be a waste not to put in the game.

All that said yeah I don’t agree with people crapping on the system before it’s out.

I feel like we will get a plant magic of some sort as a lost magic, considering plants n shit are always really cool for magics in games, but I doubt it’d be specifically growth considering that curse also does stuff like allowing you to change your body size iirc

Growth is renamed plant.
Growth of plants to be exact, that’s why Randal managed to merge himself with a tree…A PLANT


But it shoudl be noted, that yes, just because curse exist does not mean that magic exists too, Cloud is a great example.

So yeah, its all highly theoretical, and we dont know for sure except those magic that were shown in game:

  • Aether
  • Flare
  • Gravity
  • Ancient Lightning
  • Inferno

I can see where you’re coming from with that then, though I do disagree with calling it growth still (since again it’s more than just making plants grow)

I really don’t see how it having an ability aside from just making plants would mean we wouldn’t get it as a magic. The size changing thing seems pretty perfect to go along with the aura spell, or any other transformation spell if there are any in the future.

We’re supposed to be getting some size changing potion later on from a Dark Sea update

aside from that though growth sounds kinda odd compared to something like “Plant” or “Nature” and such.
