You’ve only seen Youtubers with 20k? All 3 of them?? :sob: Stop living under a rock

yea “I think that making ships into a mobile base” yea I also liked this idea
but the part I dislike is how there is no build-up to it you go from nothing to being able to do just able to do everything besides shopping and opening sealed chests

I would be more welcoming to it if there was something like that on the cheaper/smaller ships

(shameless plug)

Random add-on ideas for ships

Yeah you are right I don’t watch arcane odyssey youtubers. I also dont know how many galleons other people have so it really seems like youtubers or renown sweats.

I have like 150k bounty on my best account, and like 130-150 hours, while still having like 80k galleons earned, it HEAVILY depends on the type of person

Nice pun in the title btw

crazy levels of hating ngl

i literally struggle to reach above 1k galleons regularly bro not all ytbers are the same

I can easily get over 1k, but grinding to 20k just seems… boring. Even if it’s somehow easy or not risky I feel like it would be really boring just doing cargo in general. I feel like getting to 20k is too high of a requirement to prove that you can make money without losing it. Also, I’m worried that the gap in power between the Brigate and anything else will make ship combat and ganks too unfair.

God forbid something in an mmo takes more than an hour to get

the problem is not the time
i can do fun things for 6 days in a row
its if it’s fun or not

sealed chest farm

Most sane person here, I do cargo only when I need levels, the main way I become rich is that I don’t hoard my random crap “oh I might need these 50 lemongrass herbs later” if you don’t cook often, you won’t. The most sound advice I can give to people struggling with not having enough money is sell useless stuff.

But what if I need it!

“im not on board with bigger shi- ACK”

FAK E YOUR!

BOAT SUPERIORITY MUST EXISTS

I PRAY VETEX MAKES IT STRONGER IN YOUR SPITE!!!

Man that must suck, can’t relate

nah. The only thing I know I don’t need is the gems I craft to upgrade my crafting skill

i usually sell off all blueprints, sail designs, sailcloths, and unnecessary weapons/armor

But you can upgrade lower quality jewels into higher quality ones with enough skill level…

Never cook again.

The stats on this thing kinda tell us what to expect from the Dark Sea’s difficulty. And Vetex can always just rework it.
Job tables are a pain in the ass to find, and it’s more annoying when you’re trying to craft and end up being hunted by the guy in a powerful clan who decided 458,000 fame wasn’t enough.

Also, have you seen the placement for some jewelcrafting tables vs. their size?
Rasna’s one is insanely easy to miss, and the one in Rubica and on Shell Island aren’t exactly obvious, either.
It is also worth noting that while the Brig is the first big ship, other types such as cutters, schooners, etc. are planned for AO, which will likely act as sidegrades and in-betweens for the Ketch, Caravel, and again, be in-between the Brig and Ketch.
Besides, do remember, Ironclads have been planned for AO for a while. IRL they’re kinda, you know, immune to cannonfire. Obviously, that won’t happen in AO, but it puts a perspective into it.
Plus, the maintenance costs of the Brig needs to be considered. People have already estimated pretty high costs for a full repair of this thing (especially with its now 12,000 durability), so if you sink it, or nearly sink it, you’ve really fucked yourself over.
Which may also indicate the sheer challenge and reward the Dark Sea will offer us. High cost for failure, but you’ll be amazingly rewarded with those treasures.

I give you 3 stars for effort because you at least went out of your way to look at the stats and composed that in a very readable format.
But everything else makes you unworthy of cooking again.

(i never had a problem with the stats or the cost for that matter)
I have a problem with the “gap” Yes there are plans for in-between but what does it matter if they aren’t in the game?
(also i would like there the was a ramp-up to the job tables I just dislike how it goes from nothing to everything in just 1 ship YES I KNOW THE IN-BETWEEN ARE PLANNED BUT THEY ARN’T PLANNED IN THE NEXT UPDATE)

also, lower that Quality and Effort because i didn’t get my point across perfecty

(now i think about it may have been better to maybe this “why the next update needs 3 ships not 1”)
