Read this first -BNT
If you’ve heard about Lost Things (a story in the Average Day in Magius series), that story will be delayed due to my procrastination and being unable to write for now. To help with that, I’ll go with a more casual-paced(?) approach to the series’ introduction. Plus this story will serve as an introduction to The Storytellers; the characters who will carry the entire series’ lore.
If you don’t understand whatever I rambled about or are new to this series, welcome to ADIM hell! This story will include several sub-stories featuring different sets of characters around Magius, told by a certain group of characters called The Storytellers. It’s a totally light-hearted series! If you’ve been following this series, I’d still say this even if it sounds like a total lie.
As for this story, each part of a chapter will have at least one poll where you can control our protagonist’s fate. And yes, some parts may be written in the replies too! (But don’t worry about that, I’ll link to the replies in the main post.)
Each storyteller will tell different parts. Sometimes, they might answer your replies too! (And yes, this will sound like I’m roleplaying several characters.)
Finally, thanks for reading this entire section! And if you need a summary:
- Average Day in Magius will start from this sub-story first. Lost Things will be delayed for now.
- A group of certain characters called The Storytellers will carry/tell this entire story and series.
- There’ll be polls in each story part for the protagonist’s fate. Don’t forget to check my linked replies on the topic to view the entire chapter!
- The storytellers (roleplayed and controlled by me) may reply to your replies instead of myself.
Ah, there you guys are.
Good day to you, our readers, and listeners!
And welcome to our little space for this journey, there’s you, your friends, my friends, and me.
The room’s big enough for all of us, and this story we’ll tell you.
Before we go in with our stories, let us sit down, and get comfortable for a bit.
This is a break from your day, after all.
It’s okay if you have any lingering concerns, sorrows, or problems.
We can rest for a bit here, in this hideout from the real world.
While we’re telling the stories, some of us storytellers may offer you some small gifts too.
As for mine, you might smell some sweet blossoms from another room.
But I won’t tell you what they are for now.
I’ll grab those things for you guys when they’re done brewing.
Now, allow me to ask you guys something.
How was your day?
… Ah, wait. I apologize for not introducing myself earlier.
It seems like I’ve skipped a step here.
Haha, how could I forget about this?
The name’s Valerie Flint, one of the storytellers here.
I know some of you may not be familiar with this surname, I came from a village in the southern of Magius after all.
People there like hunting and fighting, and they’re quite tough ones.
Can you guess where I came from?
Correct or incorrect, I’ll tell you that later.
Let’s start with our main activity here.
The thirteen storytellers, including myself, will bring you guys on a journey in Magius.
You might be familiar with this story’s direction.
The Minotaur and the Exiled, Aurielle Salore and Dacien, do those names ring any bells?
To us, they came from a lost and incomplete story.
Us storytellers have patched this story’s pieces together and turned them into this journey we’re going to have.
And now, let’s start with the basics of our main character.
We’ll deal with the rest of their details.

And remember, you can follow your own directions.
You don’t have to follow the others’ decisions this time.
Remaining your true self may be hard, so all I would ask for is…
Pay attention to the voices inside yourself.
And think of them as something you have to take care of.
